Although Im sure I have acutally played close to 1.5 million, I am almost to 1 million hands on PTR. Once I hit it, I will probably make a long blog post complete with things I've learned, discovered, lost, won, broken, fixed...experienced as a semi-pro and lolpro over the years. Will try to include graphs and pics.
Mexico has been nice. Very hot, but I like that. The relationship with my girl has turned into something really amazing. The house has been great. The mini pool or extra large jacuzzi, Pooluzi as my girl coined it, has been nice as well.
The other night, I surprised her with a little night picnic. We got Baguettes (sandwiches made with cream cheese, cheese, meat, L, T, on a roll) and drove to a pitch black area near the ocean. We watched Hot Tub Time Machine on my lap top, in my car, with the sound going through the auxiliary port in my stereo. Worked really well. Then we watched the meteor shower for an hour before going home. (PG version).
After reading nutsinho's post on 2+2 about his PA search I decided to post this: My girl has had a crush on a Mini Cooper for a long time and you know what? It's exactly the right car for her. So she decided she was going to get a job and save for the car. I asked her how much she would make and she said the best she could hope for was around $500 per month. It would be a long time saving to get her car (although I'm sure her dad will pay half) and time would be limited. So I did some basic math. $30 dollars per week for a cleaner and $30 dollars per week for laundry = $240 (things I'd be paying someone else to do for me). Now add someone who can cook, translate, is always in a good mood and easy to have around the house and the decision became clear. Hire her as a personal assistant. I pay her more than she would make out there and I get her around the house. Today she made me a flourless chocolate cloud cake, right after she cleaned my room and did my laundry. FTMFW.
Poker started of great but I think Im close to back to even for the month. The last 4 days have been fucking unreal and I have really lost it. This is the worst run I've had since about Feb running 2.6 K below ev. I cant win a flip, I cant win my AA vs his JJ+, I cant even win my AA vs his AKo so fml. Its gotta change though cuz the run has been horrendous. Hopefull be back on track soon after a little 48 hour break I'm taking.
