For December I am going to take a route that I have never taken before in poker. I am going to play 75k hands of 6max (1/2 is the plan, maybe some 0.5/1) in December. For the first time ever I don't really care how much money I make. This is just an experiment to see how big/small my edge is at 6max. Since it's not my main game it will almost feel like a vacation. I have put in about 4k hands of 6max in November and really enjoyed it so far.

Reasons for move to 6max in December
1) HU has me tilted between running bad, lack of action, and hit/runs
2) Going to chiropractic school in July 2010. It's going to be tough (almost impossible) to play HU when in school, so I need to get a grasp of my edge in 6max.
3) Since I'm going back to school, I know I won't make as much next year as I have this year, so I am in a higher tax bracket now than I will be next year. I wanted to dedicate a month to 6max before I started back into school, so I might as well do it now when my tax rate is higher.

I'd be happy if I won at 2-3BB/100, but I feel I can do a lot better than that. Long-term goal is to move up to 2/4 if I can crush 1/2.
