I coasted through September and October with pretty much no variance whatsoever. I averaged at least 40hrs/week which is way more than I ever accomplished. November was off to a good start until Nov 9th. I had a fever and body aches (no other symptoms thankfully). I pretty much felt like death though and slept most of the day every day. I felt good enough to play poker six days later on Nov 15th. I also found out my aunt (Mom's sister) has lung cancer. She doesn't smoke and the rare form of cancer she has doesn't come from smoking. I still haven't heard any official prognosis, but I don't think it's good. I'm worried about my mom and how she is going to handle another death (she has depression but medication works). She lost a sister in Dec 2004, 32yr old son-in-law in June 2005, various aunts/uncles, her father Feb 2009, and now has to deal with this.

Getting back to poker, this week has pretty much been hell at 1/2. I went on a 25 buyin downer. Not gonna say it was all variance as I have been very tilted/spewy, but a lot of it was straight up bullshit. Hit and runs have been increasing by the day. If the money goes all-in the fish actually have the "Sit Out" box checked regardless of what they have/their equity/if they suck out/if they lose. The retarded fish are acting like the cash game is a sit-n-go where as soon as you're all-in it's over. Some retard today sits with $80 at 1/2, I sit out. He comes to different table, sits with $175 and says something completely stupid about "you buyin for $175 too" (I had $200 on the table). I just tell him he is brain dead. He plays 2 hands, wins blinds so he's at $178, sits out and asks me to buyin for $180 (I reloaded to $400, so I'm at $397) and yet again tell him he is brain dead. I don't think the guy was joking/leveling me. There are apparently some dumb people in the world.

So, I almost considered taking today (Thursday the 19th) off, but got bored around 6pm. I fired up some tables and started the day off in okay fashion maybe winning a buyin or so. Next thing I know I'm down 1k, and then 2.7k at 1/2. I managed to convince 2 huge fish to not hit and run me. The one guy went from 100-->900-->150--->1100--->0. I told him he couldn't leave until he was bust and he listened and when I stacked him he said something about that $100 being a "hell of a lot of entertainment." (LOL DEGEN). A different fish went from 200-->1100 when he ran hotter than balls sucking out 30% equity AI on turn and no joke got all-in on AQ2 rainbow with Q7o when he limp called pre, I cbet, he minraises, I reraise, we get it all-in for like 1.5buyins and he binks a Q. He's convinced I'm a donk so I convince him not to quit as well. All-in-all I ended up $180 on the day after being stuck 2.7k. If those 2 fish had hit/run me and I had not gotten back the 2.2k they had on the table I would have been defeated. I would have had to take an extended break, but now I feel like I got my confidence back and I'm ready to win again.

On Sunday I have to go take care of my 6-year-old niece. My sister is going to the Dominican on vacation and I'm the only option. All I have to do is watch her Sunday, take her to school Monday morning, waste Monday morning/afternoon, pick her up from school Monday, ship her off to school on Tuesday morning. and then I can leave. So, won't be playing from Sun-Tues morning.

Thursday is Thanksgiving. I'm not sure if I'm going to go home or not. If I hadn't got sick I DEFINITELY would, but I feel like I need to get in a lot more hours of poker. I just bought a new PC, so the old one is at home so that makes it a lot easier to go home/grind when free. I will probably end up going home Thursday, eating food/hanging out, grind at home Friday and Saturday. I'm heading up to Minneapolis Sunday 29th for the Vikings vs Bears (Bears fan, roommate is a Vikings fan). At the beginning of the year I would have said it would probably be a good game, but the Bears have fallen apart since we bought the tickets (figures). Never have faith in Chicago based sports team!

Here is this month's 1/2 graph (biggest personal 1/2 downer ever)

Been watching a lot of TV on DVD lately as well as a few currently running shows. TV on DVD includes

Six Feet Under

The Shield

Current shows I'm watching include

Modern Family

The Office

Mad Men---which just finished Season 3

Sorry to hear about your aunt, I wish the best for you and your family.

Also I hate Hit and runners, they are a plague!!! But at least you manage to not lose in those epic sessions, so thats a little victory all by itself.

Keep pounding the fishes with your $178 hehehe....
