Since my ~200k score in the 5k shootout the poker in my life has been boooooring in that I've only played the 5k 6 max and the main event since it(I've only played 2 online sessions the entire summer, though I'd like to play some live cash before the summer comes to an end). I busted the 6m pretty quickly with no real interesting hands and am currently a bit below average with 23k going into day 2 of the main where blinds will be 250-500 with a 50 ante. I have to say for my first main event I'm pleasantly surprised with how good the structure is compared to any other live tournament I've ever played(only thing that compares is the WPT championship).

Other than that I've been going out a lot and experiencing lots of things Vegas has to offer, namely the club scene and high end restaurants. It's pretty awesome because there are just so many places that are similar but all awesome in their own way because there are no clubs/restaurants that are even close to a monopoly in Vegas. I think maybe I'll get bored of everything eventually but right now I'm loving it especially since I haven't been close to everywhere yet, add to the fact that during the summer tons of my friends are out here so there's almost always someone who's down to do something fun on any given day that you get along well with.

The leggo party was a sick hit considering we got probably over 100 peeps to stop by and I'd guess we had about 80 there at one point during the night. The crowd we got was awesome too, consisting of lots of cool people I haven't seen as much as I'd like this summer and lots of cool new people I had the pleasure of meeting. Of course the copious amount of alcohol that was consumed and the prop bets that transpired were hilarious as well...but my favorite part about the party was the ridiculously sick fucking house we rented for it. It's definitely the sickest house I've ever stayed in and I can't wait till whoever took the cribs-esque video posts it somewhere on leggo so those less fortunate ones who couldn't make the party can see what you missed!
