I don't really plan on anyone reading this, but here's my poker story: played poker a little starting freshman year of high school. mostly with friends, some online. online was full of ups and downs. finally, this summer i set up a bank account thing and transfered to full tilt, where I fourished NL 50 onto NL 100 onto NL 200 deep. First couple weeks I built bankroll to 4800. from there, it slowley drindled. well, not so slowly. One night, after receiving an incredibly bad beat, I went up to play hu at NL 10/20. stayed even for about 10 hands, until i raise button with a8o. flop comes aj9 2 spades. he checks, I bet. he calls. turn 8 spades. he checks, I bet. he raises about 4x my bet. after taking my whole clock, I opt to call. River is deuce diamonds or something. he insta-shoves with 1500. Once again, I am faced with another decision. Having put in about 8 or 900$, I decide to call. If I played the hand over again, I am not sure I would be able to make the fold on the turn. So boom, -2500$ in the matter of a hand. close my laptop, and go to sleep (an hour later). Despite my home was ultimately NL 200 deep, I had the urge to take some more shots at NL 1000. Those games are ridiculously soft, therefore, I could steal pot after pot. Until one day, my AA busted against KK for a 2000$+ pot. ((((yes, I know i do not belong at those stacks, thx)))) Thennnnnnn about a week later, my KK busts against AK with an A on the river (1400$ pot). It was sickening, yes. but at this pt, my brain was warped from all the bad beats. It was at this moment when I finally broke down. left with $500 in my account, I could not give a sh**. Story of my life. I have not played since, but plan on it in the future.
