I browsed through the lobbies of FTP/PS and spoke to clayton/chewy about tournaments to play on Sunday, and I decided I am going to take the ~10 hour plunge! This will be good if nothing else for me to get some tournament experience in before WSOP time. In preparation, I mapped out all the tournaments I want to play (I had 12 underlined which means "must play," and probably 20 others). I'll certainly post how I wound up doing with a list of the tournaments that I wound up playing. I hope my computer can handle all these tables!

As an aside, I played about 1k hands of PLO at PLO400 today six tabling and won about 2700. It went smoothly and I actually got it in ahead 18 out of 23 times (according to the all in tab of PokerEV), with money still win overall without showdown, so I'm doing something right. However, by far the most interesting revelation I had was the value of pairs when you have wraps. Take the following hand for example:

When the money went in, I was a 76.8% favorite. Now, If I had 6d 4c 7s Td (making my ten dead), I drop to an underdog 48% to win. If I had 6d 4c 7s Qd I only am 55.7% to win. Big difference!
