poker gods love waitresses

while i've been a bum online for the last couple of months, offline poker is going well. all boring stuff aside (explaining what is "fold equity" to live fish, also i love how most of them misapply this concept, so the games are getting better), i played a 5\10 session today in one of Moscow's casinos on a stake, and that went pretty well. we were shorthanded for the most part, i was finally getting a feel of my A game, ran a couple of weird bluffs that ended up working anyway.

one hand was flat out awesome, though - both me and some mid-30ies guy were like 250bb deep (i moved to a different table since the main game broke), i get 77 in CO 7-handed, i open, he calls in SB, flop comes 7hAsKs, i bet, he raises a ridiculous amount, and starts acting like he's nervous. I mean, my reads on him would take a couple of pages, but long story short, i 3bet him and we get it in because he's a degenerate with too much money on his hands. Obviously he flips up QTss, as expected, sees my hand and says: "i'll give the waitress 100$ if i get a spade turn". Turn is a spade. Okay. Fine, I'm pretty drunk at that point and kind of tired of hopping tables. How about that, i ask the dealer to hold it, ask another waitress to come over and tell her to watch - if i river a full house or better, she gets 200$. River is an A. Shippppppppppp

Always bet on waitresses, i guess..

would love to write more, but too drunk and tired after a night out

they don't understand it anyway. plus i don't tell them everything right from the beginning, obviously - it's great business, since these guys pretty much will never get better, but they couldn't care less, they just don't want to make "mindless" decisions at the table. Thing is, they keep making them anyway, although i'm 100% honest when talking poker to them, we even had a discussion once about how to bloat pots with Ahigh in heads up pots and at the same time play it as a bluff catcher. it was fun, although i doubt he understood anything.
