Just ended a 1k hands session at 400NL, I think it's one of the sickest I've ever had.
Just look at how many pps's I had, lost almost none..
I'll try to repeat the same routine every morning from now on, have the same conditions, maybe it will happen again..

Another good news is that I have 2 students that I'm coaching for 200NL for $150 an hour. Hope it will be a lucrative relation for all of us, I'm sure I have something to learn from it too.
Cheers

Didn't have much time to play online last month, also was in Barcelona for about 8 days, during the EPT.. didn't play any satelite, just cash, 2/5eur the first day, then the lowest was 5/10. I did well at these two limits, but because of a bad day at 10/20eur (-7k eur), I finished at -1k.
Add some expensive shopping and it wasn't a very profitable trip. Oh well, maybe next time.. EPT Budapest at the end of the month, i think.
Here's the online graph, managed to log around 34k hands, running at about 13BB/100, but below expectation as always..

For Oct I made a prop bet with a poker mate, on who's making most BB's/100, on 40k hands min. I hope I'll play at least 50k, but we'll see. Also, I'm changing the ipoker skin as I've received a great offer. So I'm expecting a very good month, also cause of the nickname change and everything..
Cheers

Ok so I'm back on track, knew the bad run couldn't last for more than a day..
Today I was trying to climb my way up, few good hands, few bad beats from SS'ers, nothing in particular, until this hand comes up.. I guess he put me on 66s and was hoping for a split..

Didn't play much this summer, August was no exception as I was on a holiday in the beautiful Palma de Mallorca and then back in my hometown for the first 3 weeks. So I managed to play around 10 days last month, with pretty good results.. rakeback isn't bad either.
This month though, on the 1st of Sep I had the most brutal day ever, not by the amount lost, but by the ev difference. I got sucked out on almost every single time I put my money in..
Got back about 2bi's yesterday after a -6bi day start, but that's ussual, I'm a comeback expert lol..
As for this month's goals, I'd like to play at least 50k hands before moving up to 5/10 next month with a 100bi bankroll, which I hope will be enough for my peace of mind, but I'm not too sure..
I don't know if I'll be able to put in that many hands though, as I started to play 4-5 tables max in order to improve my hand reading skills (still 8 on week-ends for the fish). Also, I'll be travelling to Barcelona with some friends between 8-14sep for the EPT event there and maybe 2-3 days more to Ibiza.. so, 50k might be too much, but I'll try.
Also, I'm gonna start working out again as soon as I'm back, that's always a good way to improve bb/100..
Cheers

So, whilst being at my mother's house, I wanted to watch Krantz's SH DVD and read some more pages of Bobbo's book and not play at all. But, ofc, while I was at around page 60, I got the urge to play and opened 6 400nl tables on the laptop.
And everytime I play after studying, I begin making plays and run a lot of "elaborate" bluffs. Add a few bad beats and you get a -2.7k session..

I hope this is going to be a self improvement tool for my game, helping me to keep track of my progress and allowing me to receive other people's feedback.
OK, first off, I'm a 25yo, 400-600NL player on the ipoker network, randomly playing 1Knl also, whenever I find a fish or two swimming around.. Theoretically, the bankroll would allow me to play at 1Knl, but I feel that I didn't play enough hands at 400NL-600NL..
I also withdrew around 25k about a month ago for a car, so that's of the reasons too.. I think I'll play for 2 or 3 more months tops at 400-600 and then I'll try to become a regular at 1Knl.
Anyway, just got back from the EURO 08, where I followed my national team, allong with some of my friends, poker players included.. We had a very nice time, including some hilarious moments during our trip to Amsterdam between match days, maybe I'll talk about em later.
I just can't wait to begin playing online again, today I started with a very short session, cause I have to leave for my hometown as it's my mother's bd, but I'll be back tomorrow. Here's today, lol:
And an interesting hand vs a fairly solid player:
