Not much to say, started December well, January inexistent, but ofcourse... as in all professional games (many would preffer "sports", but seariously) burn out pops in and does it's shit.. This month hasn't already ended, but, as long as we agree, week-ends spent on the internet are for nerds (except my hero petinvest for winning another huge prize- 3rd in stars's 4kk guar., for 500k), so I'll put out my graph already..

Qualified for the 1.5m ECOOP ME also, that's this Sunday on Ipoker.
Have also bad news this time for a start, I've sprained my left hand wrist at the weekly soccer match, so couldn't attend the gym anymore for the last 3 weeks or so and I'm beginning to feel pretty miserable phisicaly. But I'm on a heater so this isn't affecting my game, ofc.

Not much to say really about last month, but wanted to make an entry as usual. Didn't grind as much as I would've liked to, but I'm sure I'll get back on track the next months. Here's the graph anyway..

What is in fact somewhat interesting in this post is yesterday's session, when I think I made the most significant comeback ever, had the largest loss at HU and biggest win at 400NL 6max.

For 6max:

Another fact to mention is that a week ago I played cash live in a casino after an aprox. 6 months absence, here in Bucharest, at the Bora Bora Casino, inside the Pullman hotel, where the Romanian Poker Cup by PokerStars was taking place. It felt good as I also left with around $2.5k in my pocket Played the equivalent of $4/8 with a "mandatory" straddle of $16 . I was there with a long time and very good friend of mine, sort of a protege also, who is planning on leaving his IBM boring job for a poker player career and I really think he's got what it takes. He just had his first baby, so it's gonna be a little more difficult, but we're working on it..
That's it, cheers!

Not very much to say, didn't really concentrate on poker that much, had to attend lots of birthday parties too, so I'm not in the best physical shape right now, but I'm working on it at the gym.
Also, I'm looking forward to see the next issue of Card Player Romania, as there's gonna be an interview with me in it . September graph below, +$2k on my gf's laptop along with the rb it's not such a bad month as it may seem . Unfortunately, someone hit the doomswitch at some point, second half of the month was pretty brutal indeed, hope to get all that ev back this month.

Had a very good month, didn't manage to play too many hands, as I've been a week in Greece to the seaside and other reasons, but who needs quantity when quality is so much more profitable..
The holiday was really nice, we met lots of romanian people, we felt a bit like being at home. The beaches are not so great like in our seaside, bit too rocky, hotels have lower standards, but all in all it was a good experience.
Also, I'm back in the gym together with my cousin after a 2 week absence, decided to train hardcore this month and after (also spent a lot on supplements), so that we get in the best possible shape asap. Was thinking for some time about hiring a personal trainer, I'm sure that would be very +ev overall, but I'm too lazy to look for one. Maybe the next months..
Cheers

I was going earlier through the most recent article in HEM where the author was advising to search the database for the top 5 five winners for the limit you’re playing at and analyze some of their stats through filters.
To my surprize, the 5th was me, with the nickname I had on Carlos. Those are not all hands played there, only the latest, as I’ve changed computers at one point and lost older ones. As I was looking at the stats, I was realizing just how good my game was and how much I’d like to get back to that.
The reason for which my game changed at one point was that, as I swithed sites for a better rb deal, I was instantly doomswitched, losing around 40bi the first month there, 35 under ev. I’m a bankroll nit and that wasn’t a catastrophy, however it was enough to make me lose confidence in my game and turn to what I play till this day, smth like 20/16.
For the next months, my goal is to open up my game again and get back to that style of play, as I now realize the only reason I changed it was bad luck and fear.

Cheers

Long time no see, here are some updates..
Changed site for a better deal, guess it's the best one out there, been running about 40bi under ev on the previous skin in ~170k hands and definately needed a change.
Proved out to be a good one, June was fine, tho didn't play too many hands..
Meanwhile, travelled a bit around the country (noticed that tho I've visited many foreign countries, didn't visit Romania at all) and to Sensation White in Amsterdam on the 3rd, very impressed with the show, spent 4 days there. I've been in Amsterdam before but stayed for just one night..
Had a short session today, went well, and also hit a royal flush at FR, guess it's the 5th or so, but 1st in a long while.. Since last month, been playing 2-3 FR and HU tables along with the usual 5-6 SH and it's going really well.

I'm pretty tired of speaking about this.. but now I'm writing so it doesn't count. I've been robbed twice in a respected hotel in Paris close to Tour Eiffel. The first time of about 200 euros from my gf's wallet, we just made a complaint to the hotel, they didn't do anything about it so the thieves thought it would be nice to do it again two days later and stole my laptop + broke the seif wtf!!1. We put there some of the valuables after the first robbery.
I couldn't believe that the police didn't even bother to come take finger prints or smth. They are completely stupid and the "Louis de Funes" type movies characterize them perfectly.
I'm not expecting to get something back or a reimbursement from the hotel though with talked to the manager about that, but he insists that it's not his decision but of the hotel chain he's a part of, so we have to wait. I'm thinking about suing them but I don't have the proof from the police that something was stolen.. idiots!!
The conclusion is that I'm never going back to France, if anything happens to you there, the police doesn't give a **** about that.
Anyway, I'm home for 4 days now and logged around 16k hands the last 3 days with a good winning rate, looked like I was getting back the ev lost in Paris, but I was wrong.. yesterday was pretty brutal

And two interesting NSD hands from yesterday's session (that I won ldo):

Ok, half of the month report, as I stated in my previous post, I'm hopping to log 80k hands, I'm already at 60k, but won't be able to play too much for the rest of the month. Played 6-8 tables SH and about 4 FR. Managed to place 37th in the race for 800$.. free money is always nice.. + the monthly bonus that makes 5k. ******** pro yey! Anyway, the good thing is I noticed I can play 10-12 tables for 10-12h a day with few short breaks without feeling too exhausted at the end of the day. Will try to play at least 80k hands a month from now on.
The game went ok, but I'm running below ev as hell and I think that might have a small impact on my game.. didn't tilt too much though and god knows I had lots of reasons to. Had some of the most horrific bad beats of my carreer. Graph 1-15 April:

Had a pretty weak month, was very dissapointed about being breakeven half way through, but I managed to pull it off eventually. Loyalty bouns included, it's around 12k. And ofcourse running below EV. What I'm very proud off though is that I managed to play 60k hands, whilst not being able to play during week-ends, as I have to spend some time with my girl too..
By the way, I have to brag about playing 15k hands (12tables+) the first two days of April as there's a race this month on Ipoker. Unfortunately, I'm only in the 35th place (900$), lots of maniacs on this network.. not going to bother with the race anymore, though I aim at 80k+ hands this month. Not sure if it's realistic as there is the Easter coming and right after that I'm leaving for Paris with my gf for about a week. We shall see, I'll work pretty hard till then..
