Today was very exciting for a few reasons.
Day 1 of the group coaching with Greg. It went very well and I learned a lot. I was worried that it would be to basic, and I would not get much out of it. Wrong. We all learned a lot in the 1.2 hour session. I am also excited about meeting other players to work with in the future, after the course is over. A very good experience all and all.
After the group coaching I did a sweat with a new group of four guys that was kind of disappointing. Two of the four barely spoke during the hour session. I asked what they thought at one point about a play I made, one did not even hear me or answer, the other said he was watching a youtube video. I don't see why I am explaining my thought process when nobody is listening, or limiting myself to four tables. Why would I now pay attention to them, and help them to improve? It's more irritating the more I think about it. I am undecided if I will try again with the group.
After that I watched my buddy Jdell take a shot at 100nl. He ran bad. I am not sure if he ended up down or what, but there were some unfortunate situations.
Nutedawg sweated me after that at 1/2 on FTP. FOR 1400 HANDS. SO SICK. I flopped a set every five minutes on average and got sick river value. I learned a couple new things that will make me much more difficult to play. Nothing like a 3 hour plus sweat from a great player. Big props to Nute.
This is probably the best poker learning experience day I have had ever. Just sick.
I have gone from a low of -3.5K to +2.7K this month and am looking to finish strong. Here are the stats for today...
