In my last blog entry I was flying back to Toronto to go back to what I thought was my Grandmother's funeral. I got back in time to visit her in the apartment and the doctors said she has very little time left, so I figured I would stay until the funeral. I had as good a time as possible given the conditions hung out with family had some good meals, etc. We went to North 44, which is where I wanted to go before Fallsview and it was incredible. After my third day in Toronto my parents suggested I go back to Montreal so I don't miss any more class, I went back went to some classes and on Saturday I was informed that my Grandmother had finally passed away. I flew back for the funeral on Monday and flew back out Tuesday morning.
I usually hate flying, but I flew Porter, which I was very happy with. For those who don't know Porter is a discount airline that flies from Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax, New York, Chicago. It flies out of downtown Toronto and is the only airline that flies out of that airport, which means I could probably show up at 1000 for a 1030 flight. When you get into the terminal in Toronto you get free wifi and drinks, and you get free drinks on the flight as well. I would highly recommend Porter to anyone.

The timeline for the following is a little confusing, but soon after arriving back in Montreal my hard drive crashed. YAY!. Dell delivered me a new hard drive on Thursday, when I was studying in the basement of the library, where my cell phone didn't get reception. Despite me leaving a note asking them to leave it at the rental office they didn't. They also didn't leave a notice or a voicemail on my phone and I wasn't even aware the delivery was attempted until 24 hours later. Once I found out I called Purolator and got fake mad, but they didn't do anything. So I took a cab out to the Purolator depot and back to the airport, which was about $80 total. At the Purolator depot they told me I needed proof of address, which I didn't have, luckily they decided to not be total *******s and gave me my package anyways. I went to install my HD and reinstall Windows, when I discovered that my optical drive was broken and couldn't install Windows. DOUBLE YAY!

They shipped me a new optical drive and yesterday my cpu got fixed, I used it for about an hour, when the hard drive crashed again. Luckily that was just a small glitch and I fixed it and I now have a working cpu.

I haven't played much poker recently for the above reasons, but have been doing pretty well sports betting, which is nice. I have 4 exams next week so I doubt I will be playing anymore poker soon.

One thing that was on my old HD was the list of all the hands I could recall from Fallsview, which would be an annoying thing to lose, if I don't get my HD recovered, but I will see.

Now that I have my cpu back I will start blogging more frequently and hopefully with things that are actually insightful instead of retelling the epic tale of how my HD crashed.

Since I have been whining all post I will add that I need to win the make the playoffs in the 2k Fantasy Football league and I decided to bench Vincent Jackson. Also it looks like a big difference could be that I started Andre Johnson in week 2 when the game was canceled by Hurricane Ike.
