It's been a while so figured I'd give an update. I still haven't played poker and not sure if I will. I don't want to play if I don't enjoy it, and that seems to be the case for the past month and a half. I will likely give it another go soon, since nothing else seems like a better option.

As far as Thailand goes it's kind of weird. Some days I just want to stay here forever, and other days I can't wait to leave. There doesn't seem to be much middle ground. I think I'll make an effort to stay, that way I won't have to make a decision based on money, but leave on my own terms. I don't want to get a teaching job or anything here, that would be awful. It's pretty much poker/internet jobs i'd like or nothing.

I started my application for financial aid for college (university to you non-U.S folks). I think I should get some since I didn't make much money last year. That's kind of my default plan if i end up back in the U.S. I might play poker on Merge for extra money, or I might just work part time scooping ice cream, not too much of an idea yet. That's a ways off in the future anyway.

My typical day now consists of eating, watching tv, drinking alchy, shooting pool, and sleeping. It's not a bad life. I recently purchased a childrens bball hoop and it's been fun killing a few minutes at a time on that


I've finished watching Boardwalk Empire which is a solid show. I will likely start The Wire soon, but am also d/l King Of Queens which is one of my all time favs and haven't seen in a while. I'm just about caught up on all my other shows. I've watched nearly every Bulls game, and a few other NBA games as well. So that fills up a lot of time.

Tomorrow is Friday, which means Thai class, which is usually fun. Supposed to go out with some friends I met in class later in the evening. Saturday not too many plans which I'm sure will change, and Sunday I think I'm going to some lake to hang out. I will attempt to get back on the grind, but no promises. I'm pretty happy right now, and can't imagine grinding much.
