Basically nothing much has been happening the last week, playing some poker, watching some tv shows, playing some sports and that's about it!

Well, yesterday I ended up sleeping from 8:30 am until 1 pm.
Then fell asleep at 11 pm and woke up at 7:30 am this morning.
A nice solid day of 10 hours yesterday.
Well at least I should have a long day today!

I made a sidebet with Jeff on which of the Matrix movies is worse (out of part 2 and part 3).

This is the second week in a row where on monday I fall asleep around 11pm an wake up at 2am and am unable to sleep anymore.
Fwiw, on both days I had a nap in the afternoon of about an hour. This sleeping 'schedule' is slowly going out of control. I have a bunch of friends coming over at 2pm today and am not sure whether I should go to bed now (8:30 am) or just stay up...

I've given up trying to have a normal schedule and the only downside to all this is that I don't see that much sunlight especially in the wintertime when there is so few hours of sun each day...
Well perhaps one day it'll all change but I don't expect that to be anytime soon!

The last few days I've been spending quite some time playing co-op:



It's actually alot of fun, with 2 players it's just amazing, can't wait to play it with 3/4 people
If you have a Wii this is def a winner!

Just watched all the new shows of last night (How I met your Mother, Big Bang Theory and 2.5 men) and none of them was that funny imo.... probably liked Big Bang the most this week.

Today I went shopping for some random gifts and found this amazing christmas tree:




It was about $265 and I was on the point on buying it until my roommate told me that it would not survive a single day because my cat would destroy it within minutes...

So that got me thinking about why I wanted to impulse buy something and I think it's because poker has gone so bad at the beginning of the year and I didn't buy anything 'cool'/'useless' for myself yet this year.
So I decided that I'm going to spend all my winning of this upcoming week next weekend on I don't know what yet...
I did start by losing 2K today so that won't help but I have confidence that things will be better and hopefully I'll be buying alot of stuff

In other news, November was a pretty decent month and hopefully December will be good also!
Gotta start getting ready to leave this country for about 6 months! Must say that I can't wait though, especially since I dislike the weather we've been having the past week here, so much rain, cold temperatures, good thing I don't leave my house that often!

Got lots of driving lessons lined up before I have to try and pass my exam so hopefully that will all work out the way I hope!

So we are about 99% wrapped on this house for June 1st through August 1st (two months). The rooms will be rented in 2 week blocks at $500. This includes a king or queen bed. The twin rooms can either be divided in half at $250 per person for 2 weeks or we can make an arrangement to get a king or queen bed in there for 1 person if you want your own room. In other news, going to play 1 or two more sessions of poker this month and then spend some time working on uni stuff for a change

Not much else to say, season(/series?) finale of Curb was ok, but the ep before was so good that it was almost impossible to top. Still liked it with the seinfeld parts in it.
The Californication ep was alot less interesting then last weeks but again, thought that ep was really good

I booked my flight for Mexico (LAX) today. Also had to get a new picture taken for my new passport yesterday... I was not really prepared to say the least:

I've started watching the show: Lie to Me


Have watched the first season and am currently catching up with the 2nd season.
Must say that it's a fairly decent show and I like it, especially since I've read some stuff about those micro-expressions and am somewhat curious to look deeper into it. If you are interested in this then go here for more info.
