Just another day in vegas.
Played poker, lost again. Not sure what I'm going to do with this but will not play much while in vegas.

Bought 5% of Jamesma for the main event, all he has to do now is take it down!

Went to see 'Public Enemies' today and that movie sucked balls.


Was pretty boring and way to many plotholes and unneccesary moments.


Drove Matt's car again today, getting better at stopping now but would probably not be able to actually go somewhere. Pretty sure I'll get my license asap when I get back home.

After about 2,5 weeks also missing home a little, so I think being in vegas for a month is probably the max for now. Although life is so different when winning or losing

Tomorrow going to see David Copperfield so that should be awesome!

Just got back from the Leggo party!
Was good meeting a bunch of new people and seeing some other familiar faces. The Masseuse girl was really cute and I think I'm the only one who actually got two massages!

Unfortunately I just went in shorts and flipflops because I figured we would stay out there the entire night and not go out. So I didn't join Oord and The_End going to the club. They'll probably go out to the Rhino afterwards also so It'll be fun to see how much they drop there

Today a couple people arrived, first Jordan (Matt's gf) who is pretty nice. I met her a year ago also but didn't remember that much about it (go memory). So we now have a woman living in the house with us.

Later that day we picked up Vitas who arrived for the party for tomorrow and we drove to the party house where Aaron (AEJones) and a couple of his friends were already getting settled/chillin for the party tomorrow. House looks really good and is pretty big. I'll try to bring my videocamera making some video's at the party tomorrow. I've been really lazy with the videocam sofar so I guess I'll start making use of it now.

So hopefully I'll finally have some videomaterial for you guys after tomorrow!

We also bought tickets for David Copperfield for this saturday.


We've seen Lance Burton already so I'm curious to see if David can top his show. Really looking forward to this show!

Also got tickets for 'O' (cirque du soleil) for next week!


Other then that not much happened today, had a good time relaxing outside with everyone at night, just chillin' and drinking some beers.

Today after waking up we got another rental car and had breakfast at quizno's. Took two different subs and both were pretty decent but I'm unsure of what I should take next time because I've had the Chicken Baja a little too often now I think.

Finally went to the gym again and started with some cardio and did a little weights and ended with cardio, felt like my condition was definately worse after a week of not doing anything and eating unhealthy food. Gained about 6 pounds by now, will be working on that the next few days I think.

Pokerwise I've dropped down to play 1/2 and had a pretty bad start with it losing about 4 BI's in three sessions total and just continuing to run really shitty. But since I believe it will actually turn around someday I keep on trying day in and day out.

Turns out today was not the day that it turned around.

Love how I drop 5 BI's within 200 hands at the end there. So again another day where I end it with a bad taste in my mouth and am unsure whether I should continue to keep playing and try to actually make money or take a serious break of at least a month. It will be hard to not play when in a house with only poker players and everyone busy with that. Also being in vegas is fairly expensive and if I don't play I won't win money to pay for certain stuff, however if I only lose when playing it does not seem like a good idea either. I guess I'll sleep on it.



So to the swimming, we went out to the strip today and started at the MGM, got some dinner at the only restaurant that was still open around 11:30 in the MGM and I got the chicken quesadilla's and I actually liked them alot.



After that we started walking down the street and Denny had to take a picture at 'his' restaurant obv.

So we continue to walk and get some drinks at one of the casino's (forgot which one) and then get to the venetian where we just hang for a while and talk about how going on a boattrip in that water is such a huge ripoff (Matt tried it apparently).

So we talked about jumping in the water and for how much water someone would do it... then a bidding war started... ending at like 775, however when we combined our moneys and got $450 together Oord said: sure I'll do it. And he did: (sorry for the crappy picture quality but Iphone + nighttime is not a great combo)

I respect Oord for actually doing it even though he did it for the money. I guess he needed to get back some money in propbets

Today Jeff left and I think the entire house was still asleep when he left, apparently his flight was at 4pm and I thought he was leaving the house at 4pm, so a little mix up there.

So when we woke up and he was gone it seemed like a good time to get some breakfast and we went to the Subway for a change where I got a flatbread sub which was surprisingly good.



Then after chillin' at the pool at night three new people showed up, Patrick, Stijn and Denny (The_end). So we went out to get dinner at the Grand Lux and it was good as always. Won another CCR (denny payed), so luckily still running good on that.

Even after an 23 hour trip here they were awake enough to actually play live, so Oord and the 3 new arrivals went to the Wynn to play live poker. Me and Matt were smarter and decided to head home and on our way back Matt asked me if I wanted to try out driving (since I don't have my driving licence and actually have never driven a car) so I obviously accepted.


So we went to an abandoned parkinglot


and I got behind the wheel, prepared to drive my ass off.


But actually it was really easy and fun. Still have to learn to stop smoothly but it's definately not really rough or anything. Hopefully Matt will let me drive some more later this trip because I was really getting the hang of it!

Even tried parralel parking but still need some practice with that but I might actually be motivated to go and get my licence now, especially after seeing how easy it is. Although it will probably be a little harder when you have to shift gears instead of relying on the automatic to do it for you.

So yesterday after waking up around 2-3 pm we went to get breakfast with the entire house at the pancake house but that was closed already and I lost a bet with Matt on whether another breakfast place we'd been to before was still open.

We (me, Jamesma, Jeff) ended up going to the blackbear again. Getting home we chilled a little at the pool before going out to dinner.

We went to an italian place called Fiamma in the MGM


We all decided to get the chef's special which wasn't on the menu but was pretty good. Wasn't exceptional but I liked most of what we got and even ate some seafood (squid) which was actually pretty good. Deserts were also very nice.

We had some trouble getting in because we weren't that dressed but because we got a table it wasn't really a problem, this time no tequilla though! And I didn't drink as much as last time, mostly because I was really really full from dinner, unfortunately there weren't that many girls there unfortunately, still had a nice time, the location is really good and our table was pretty decent.

Tri (slowhabit) and his girl (Julia) also joined us at Pure and they were really nice, it was funny because Julia for some reason really wanted to go to a stripclub and get Tri a lapdance and also get herself a lapdance (bicurious much?). So it was kindof decided that we would go to the Rhino after the club. Later also Poly_Baller and a friend joined later.

For some reason I'm impressed by how the restrooms are in these type of clubs so here are some pics of the restroom, so basically they have like 15 different type of colognes and when I was washing my hands he cleaned my shirt with some sort or roller... it's amazing.



So for some weird reason all the vegas clubs actually close between 3 and 4 am which is really weird, and was kindof sucky since we got there at like 1 but since there were no girls anyway I guess it wasn't a huge loss.

After that some of the degenerates decided to blow some money on blackjack and we got some dinner at this breakfasty thing in Ceasars and I got some eggs and a chocolate shake with alcohol which wasn't really great but whatever.

Then me, Jeff, Oord, Travis, Tri, Julia and Alex took a Limo to the Rhino:


It was actually the first time I went to a stripclub and it was actually a lot of fun.
I'm not really gonna go into details of who did what because I have to respect the privacy of those who spent a lot of money there!
Here are some girls who work there:

You're not allowed to take pictures there so unfortunately no real pics from the girls. But the one thing that stood out the most was that how fake everything was. Like every stripper is 'hitting' on you trying to get you to spend money on her. Although there are definately some ugly girls working there but most girls look pretty nice.

Also we met up again with Bobbofitos and Mike in the rhino, so after a couple of hours and it being about 8am already we decided to head home. Although not all of us left at that time... but again I'll respect the privacy of those staying there

All in all it was a really good night! Will be chilling at the pool today probably.

It is weird how fast your feelings/thoughs on poker can change from day to day or even from hour to hour. I'm still not used to all the variance involved. Today I played mostly 1/2 and found it overall very relaxing, still could not run good to safe my life but because it was only 1/2 I wasn't at all stressed about losing/running bad. So I think I'm going to be playing 1/2 for a couple of days at least, see if I can make some money there.

I played a bunch of tables today and even though that will not really help me improve that much I feel like I want to win some money again. I might play 1/2 until I win $10K. Yeah that seems like a good idea. Get a couple of these stacks:


so that will be my goal for vegas. Make $10K at 1/2, only have about 2 weeks for it so I guess I'll be playing a decent bunch, if I don't make it I'm fine with that also, as long as I make money! But it's good to have some high goals sometimes .

On saturday we plan to play the $550 donkament in the venetian.
Hopefully one of us can run hot there and ship it!

I don't really plan on playing much live poker though.

Today was the first day the private chef made dinner, it was good. He's coming again tomorrow but I'm not sure how often I'm going to 'make use' of him in the upcoming weeks. I guess time will tell.

Even though I lost about 5BI today and lost all my profit for the trip I'm feeling very good about life and even about poker. I wanna work on my game alot in the upcoming days/weeks and see where that takes me. Not sure yet how I'm going to be doing that but I'll make a plan for it.

Got owned today at wendy's though, we went out to dinner at around 10 pm and most of the guys wanted to get sushi/fish stuff and me and Oord do not like fish so we decided to get a quick burger at wendy's. But their restaurant closes at 10pm, however the drivethrough is open until 1 am.

We pretended to be a car. They did not believe us. Apparently we could not order food for security reasons or something. So we went to a Bar & Grill which was also sort of a sportsbar:


Burgers were pretty decent and we were happy, then when walking back to the rest some hot blond chick was trying to pick us up with her car, nothing interesting happened though

We were thinking about playing a deepstack tournament tomorrow but it starts at noon so we will not be awake for that unfortunately, I guess we'll finally go to the gym again because we didn't go today and I 've definately gained weighed by now!

Not many props have been happening, I've won a little money off of Oord playing pool and won a couple of small sidebets with Matt on random things.
