Hey guys,

I'm blogging about a pretty epic weekend. First of all, for any of you guys following me on Twitter (I'm shootaaa on there), you have seen my spam about the BMW driving school I attended with my dad. Christmas came a little late this year for my dad due to BMW's schedule, but he definitely looked like it was worth the wait.

The school was ridiculous amounts of fun! I can't put the experience into words, pictures, or videos. That fact isn't going to stop me from trying. I think it's best if I just post a lot of pictures and vids and let you guys see what its about at the BMW Performance Center. I'll just say that I have an M3 and I've been dying to let loose on mine, so being able to drive one as hard as I possibly could around a closed track today was exhilarating to say the least. As poker players, we say that our emotions are numbed by the way we make our money. We lose and win huge pots and it's all commonplace; after I took my turn in the M3, my hands were shaking from the adrenaline pumping!

I've also included some other pictures and videos. The red cars are all 135i cars, the white ones are 335i cars, and the video is me just coming into a straightaway in the M3.

1 series! the 135i cars we were driving. They're super light and maneuverable. The same engine as the 335i with a much lighter body and tighter wheel base makes for some sick cornering!

Here is a picture of the parking area just outside of our classroom. It was pretty funny because the first morning we were there we were talking about contact area of tires while you accelerate, decelerate, brake, turn, yaw rate, tire pressure, etc... and everyone is just looking out the window, salivating, and wondering what will be.

Here's a picture of basically of car like mine, M3, like the one in the below video. All the instructors teased us the entire time by leading us around the various courses and through exercises with these bad boys... then it was our turn.

It's pretty easy to see that part of my weekend was pretty amazing. I'm definitely going back for the M school where you drive faster cars harder and crazier than what we were doing, which was pretty nuts in itself. So how could this weekend get any better? Let me tell you.

It all started around a year ago with the first fateful Larry Open; then came Larry Bowl;and now, Larry Madness. If you don't know what the Larry tournament series is all about, then you're a Lloyd. I'm sure most of you Lloyds reading this now might be upset. Don't be. The world is made of Larries and Lloyds and we need both. These small tournaments have some prestigious fields, some of the best of the online world. I'll just say that I ran great when all in, not sucking out, or getting sucked out on. The last hand was a super cooler. I'm lucky to be on the good side of that, but I'm truly happy with every decision I made including some hero variance saving folds here and there.
