Hey guys,

I haven't updated in a while so I thought I'd drop in to say what's up. I've been on that holiday grind, picking up some online presents, which HAS to be the way to go. I'm used to clicking buttons for money anyway, so shopping and clicking buttons is way more fun as far as gifting. So there's some advice so you guys don't get trampled by maniacs stealing shoes in their fat rolls (actually happened, feel free to google for lols).

Thanksgiving was pretty standard. This time at my parents place was nice because my dad and bro were off work, which is pretty rare since they both try to coordinate Christmas time. Zzz there.

I've just recently gotten out of the pits of doom of sleeping from around 7am 'til 2pm each day. I'm now bedding around 2am and getting up at 8am, which is going pretty well so far. I got soooo much done the first day I woke up early and especially with the sun starting to set around 430, it's easier to stay motivated during the light! It's probably some psycho-evolutionary affinity for light, but it's going well despite my usual aversions to the normal predispositions of the average sir.

In the poker world, things have been going well. I haven't been playing too much and when I do, a lot of the time it's fun things like 1/2 PLO, which is hilariously easy. Hero calling with a pair of twos in PLO is just so much more fun I think. I also got 2nd in a $55 hyper-turbo sng that I signed up for by mistake. So making 1k/day when you're just messing around with random cookie-cutter neverwasses (the new phrase btw) is pretty neat and fun to do sometimes while watching The Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire, The Office, South Park, House MD, and Dexter.

Barring the examination of a few sample articles, yours truly is about to become a regular writer for the CardPlayer magazine. It's pretty neat because a lot of people see what I'm doing as far as teaching Joe Q neverwas about poker and having a lot of fun doing it and spreading the love. If you guys have any requests for articles (no style articles with pink cardigan HH explained requests please), feel free to comment away and you'll most likely see an article on that topic in CardPlayer!

My roomy won the Larry Open, which is... well if you don't know what the Larry Open is, you're just a Loyd BUT it's an invite only tourney in which poker's finest do battle. He bested the likes of Jungleman, Macdaddy34, and, in more hilarious fashion, Craigthedeac. So congrats to him on taking down the inaugural Larry Open.

I got some Tritton headphones for playing COD: Black Ops, and wow. It's like playing a completely different game when you can hear the COD parents spawning the babies of your competitions across a map and then knife them as they run around trying to do something about it. Easily worth the $160 and much recommended if you game at all.
