Hi there people, this is my first blog post. I have a personal blog out there but I guess putting poker related stuff on here would be better.
So now I am taking this poker shit serious I think it would be good for me to make some goals, post some results and do some reflection on my game.
Past few weeks have been kinda cool. Been opening my game up and trying out a ton of new things. This kinda lead to some drops in my red line from cold calling too much but meh red line is overrated anyway :P
Kinda pissed cause I prolly spewed off about 5-10bi over the past couple of week. Since I work full time I end up playing poker when I am not in optimal form which can sometimes lead to spastic sessions where I have no fold button and just play like a retard. Hopefully I can improve my awareness and just quit when I am playing like that.
Here is a graph for this month on all sites:.
Decent volume so far. Not too happy with my results. Since I have had too many avoidable -5bi sessions.
So targets this month and next month is to break into nl200. Improve my focus. I have found myself playing poker and doing other stuff a bit too much recently. I feel if I can improve my focus and concentration it will do me the world of good.
Lets see if I can find any cool hands I have played this month.

SB: $109.00
BB: $22.00
UTG: $110.00
Hero (MP): $147.95
CO: $120.65
BTN: $63.75
Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is MP with Q

Pf is standard not much to say about it.
Flop: ($8.00) T

5

T
(2 players)
SB checks,
Hero bets $6, SB calls $6
flop the nuts and bet for value and get called. Villains range for calling the flop is pretty wide so cant really narrow it down at this point.
Turn: ($20.00) 9
(2 players)
SB checks,
Hero bets $16,
SB raises to $35, Hero calls $19
Pick up a fd to go with my trips bet and get c/r. This is a pretty shitty spots. Whats villains range for c/ring? 99 slowplayed 555 Tx. His combos of possible Tx are like T9 which made a boat, TJ I beats AT KT. He can also have peeled with like AJcc or have random bluffs in his range. So we can ignore 555 and 999 since it doesnt matter too much what I do since im drawing nearly dead. Against his semi bluffs and air I thought it is better to call since if I jam im not sure if he is putting more money in the pot, and against his better Tx I have a few queens and some club outs to hit my bd flush. SO i decide to call.
River: ($90.00) J
(2 players)
SB bets $64.50 all in, Hero calls $64.50
River is worse card in the deck cause now I lose to every Tx. But I call anyway cause im a station and suck lol.
Final Pot: $219.00
SB shows 5

5

(a full house, Fives full of Tens)
Hero mucks Q

T

SB wins $216.00
(Rake: $3.00)
This is a 2 part hand. It is kinda cool cause of the dynamic it creates for the next hand:

BB checks,
Hero bets $6,
BB raises to $19, Hero requests TIME,
Hero raises to $108.40 all in, BB calls $77.50 all in
So pretty standard I think. Open KJ diamonds get a drawy board. Villain c/r but not so big. I kinda feel with Two overs, runner straight draws and 2nd nut flush draw I have decent EQ to get it in. Since his range for c/r this board will be pretty wide , esp if he thinks I cbet too much. So I decide to Jam get it in and get snapped.
Turn: ($200.50) 6
(2 players - 2 are all in)
River: ($200.50) 3
(2 players - 2 are all in)
Final Pot: $200.50
BB shows 6

6

(four of a kind, Sixes)
Hero shows J

K

(a pair of Sixes)
BB wins $197.50
(Rake: $3.00)
He makes quads on the turn
So a few hands later I play this hand with the same villain.

So I raise 57s on the btn villain calls.I think his range for donking is pretty strong since it is a Ahi monotone board. Like I think a set or maybe Ax two pair. I kinda think it is like nuts or air kinda. Cause its not like he donked half pot trying to get a cheap turn or anything. Now remember I overbet jammed the flop with a FD a few hands back. Here is were some meta game comes in. I balance by overbet jamming with my made flush and he calls after only having put in 7 bucks in with only two pair. Think I owned him

So I decide to flat AK. Something I have been experimenting with. So utg who cbets way too much cbets this flop. Against most people I would give respect for a big hand but since he is doing it too much I kinda doubt he is that strong. But nevertheless I think me c/r this board with 0 Equity is pretty bad, so I dont like my c/r. But I was kinda in experiment mode.
Turn: ($42.00) K

Hero checks, UTG checks
So we get called on flop. When he only calls I figure...
