Hey Guys,
Brian (BW07507) and I are looking to start up group coaching!
How it would work?
***Ideally 4 students would make up one group
***8 hours total during the duration of the group coaching
***Each student would get one, one hour sweat
***The other 4 hours would be broken down into 30 minutes of theory slides and 30 minutes of HH review for each student
Cost?
***$500 per person gets you 8 hours with BOTH Brian and I in every session!
Who should be interested?
***Anyone who wants to get better at poker (just kidding)
***This would probably be most beneficial for players at 100NL or lower, 200NL players struggling can talk to us to see if it's a fit
Our Background?
***Both of us proved to be consistent winners up to 200NL
***Brian has made videos for Leggo and coached numerous people, I have been a coach on Leggo for over a year or so
My graph from 100/200 NL
Brian's graph for last year and a half
http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/5256/200nl.jpg
***Both of us have been coaching for a while and decided to team up for group coaching
***We both were part of Reid's (Shootaa) group coaching and found it very beneficial
We are looking to do 2 groups of 4 students each, so it will be first come, first serve!
Please leave a comment on the blog or PM one/both of us with any questions.

First, wanted to post my 2 fantasy football teams, think they're both fairly solid.
This team is a 14 team ppr league where I had the 13th pick.
QB: Drew Brees
RB: MJD
RB: Knowshon Moreno
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: Sidney Rice
Flex: Jordy Nelson
TE: Vernon Davis
Def: Jets D
K: Garret Hartley
Bench:
Michael Bush
Jerome Harrison
Mark Sanchez
Danario Alexander
Demarco Murray
Bernard Scott
Seems pretty solid for the most part, we'll see!
My 2nd team is the more important one (much more $), 12 team, 7 keepers league, I won the regular season last year but didn't make the super bowl and drafted 10th, non snake. The people in this league draft "poorly" imo, lol.
My keepers were:
Phillip Rivers
Arian Foster
S-Jax
Peyton Hillis
Jahvid Best
Larry Fitzgerald
Brandon Lloyd
My draft went
10th: Chad Ochocinco (seemed like a no-brainer since he was still there and I'm not huge on Lloyd)
22nd: Rashad Jennings (we'll see how mjd holds up)
32: Kevin Kolb (good value, keeper league, young, etc)
42: Jordy Nelson (pretty high on him this year)
52: Brandon Pettigrew (young, hopefully can break out after a solid season last year)
62: Jason Snelling
72: Greg Little
82: ATL D
92: Billy Cundiff
Pretty stoked about this team, felt like I got great value in the draft.
After Black Friday I've still been coaching/playing a decent amount of live poker, but was pretty bored and didn't necessarily know what I wanted to do as far as my career....I sold pharmaceuticals before I quit to play poker, but don't know what type of sales I'd like to go back in to. I was pretty bored and I caddied all through high school and college so decided I'd caddie at Erin Hills, a pretty awesome course in Wisconsin that is hosting the U.S. Open in 2017 and just had the U.S. Amateur...it's a lotta fun, $ is pretty solid, good workout (everything is a double, carry two bags), etc.
One of the main reasons I wanted to caddie there was because we get to play free golf out there ($200 to play, plus caddie fee, it's like $350 day), so a huge perk obviously. Also, I wanted to caddie in the U.S. Amateur. We just wrapped that up and made it to the Final 4 and lost in the semifinals to Patrick Cantlay, the #1 amateur in the world. It was a great/exciting week, beat Peter Uihlein in the quarterfinals (winner of the amateur last year), so overall it was awesome.
Anyways, hope everyone in Leggo is well, post any thoughts on my team(s)!

Didn't proofread at all b/c I'm hungover/tired, so the punctuation/spelling could be weird

Hey,
Hope everyone is doing well and hope everyone in US is doing well now that Black Friday is a month past.
Quick post about coaching, as of right now I still have openings, I've been accepting payments via PayPal which has been convenient and easy for everyone thus far. Coaching has been going great, possibly better than ever, I think a big reason for this is the fact that I'm now 100% into coaching and pumped to even just see videos of online poker since I can no longer play . This is good for my students for sure, not to say I wasn't always very into/focused on coaching, but the fact that I can no longer play has made me enjoy coaching that much more!

Link to my page, w/ comments, shameless plug .
Go Bulls!!!
Take care,

Hey Guys,
I might as well follow suit and post on my response to Black Friday, future, etc.
I, like I'm sure everyone else was, found myself completely shocked by the news Friday. Maybe I was more shocked because it seemed like for a while everyone was thinking the blackout period would happen at some point, but then when everything got quiet/seemed to be moving forward I guess I relaxed and stopped thinking about it.
I'm not really going to give my opinion on the US Government and what not, b/c frankly it doesn't matter all that much and there's not a whole lot I can do to change it (and have never cared the slightest about politics, so don't wanna start now....even though this tempts me to).
So what does the future hold for me and everyone else? I think eventually, online poker will be back in the US, most likely in some form of US run sites, when this will happen, no clue. As for me personally, I'm fortunate that I've always believed in keeping my bank account fairly healthy in case anything like this or some insane downswing, or what have you happen. So, I don't/haven't been stressing out really at all regarding money or my immediate future, it also seems as if we will get our funds back once a payment processor is able to process it (yay!). I never really doubted this, as I am very confident in PokerStars as a site/business and have a lot of faith in them, despite these crazy circumstances.
I do have some regrets with poker, in the sense that I don't think I pushed myself to be the best I truly could be, once I started beating 1/2 for a good clip and a solid WR at 2/4 in small samples, for some reason I became content and comfortable. I always said, "next month is the month I push myself." I wish I would've pushed myself out of my comfort zone and moved up/taken my game to another level, I know I had it in me, so, hopefully if poker does come back and I've decided to keep it full-time, I will push myself to where I know I can be.
I think for the time being I"m gonna take some time to chill, who knows what I'll do next regarding work, I have a nice resume to fall back on, I graduated from Marquette University, very good school and worked for 2 years in the real world w/ good success in outside sales/pharmaceutical sales, so, being 25, who knows, maybe it's time to just move on and stop living the dream (pfffff, for real!?), haha, who knows. I was hitting a bit of a burn out stage w/ online poker lately, but I didn't realize how much I truly enjoyed grinding/competing until it was gone. I'm sure I'll play live a bit (sigh) and see if that's something I enjoy.
I caddy for a good buddy of mine who's trying to make it on some mini golf tours and caddied for 8 years through high school/college....there's a new course in Milwaukee area that's hosting the 2011 us amateur this year, so I might try and caddie there and have some fun this summer, spending a lot of time outside, while figuring out/seeing what the future of my career/state of online poker holds.
The only advice I would give anyone is, it's not the end of the world, find something else you like, or grind live, think of the positives that can come out of this, versus the negatives. Don't get me wrong, it obviously sucks and seems somewhat unfair, but just let it make you stronger versus bringing you down.
As for coaching, I'm definitely continuing coaching, I'm setting up a paypal account and will be taking money that way, if anyone needs to pay another way, let me know, I'd be open to it. I will be much more flexible now in my scheduling since I'll have a lot more free time.
Any new/prospective students just shoot me a PM on Leggo, I respond quickly.
That got way longer than I thought it would be, good luck to everyone in the US who plays full-time in figuring out what's next!

Hola,
Once again forgot I have a blog....
Anyways the purpose of this blog post is to try and do the ol' "unjinx," usually when I post graphs I run bad shortly after, but this time, I'm gonna see if the opposite holds true!
I'm def not running that that bad EV wise, all NL200, but I feel as if right now I'm playing the best poker of my life and would really like to be moving back up to 2/4 in the near future, so the AIEV combined w/ general coolers, etc is frustrating.
Anyways, I've had a few students finish 5 hour packages recently so have a couple openings, first come, first serve!
Also, in the near future I might be doing away w/ the 5 hour package or upping the price slightly, so get it while it's hot

Hope everyone is well,

Hey Guys,
Sorta forgot I had a blog....
Poker/Coaching
Coaching has been going well since being hired on to the new Leggo Coaching Forum, have had some great students so far that I've been able to work with and have seen nice improvements in their games, I'm slowing down a bit around the holidays but do have some openings currently (see my coaching page for details http://www.leggopoker.com/forums/pri...-hr-12759.html
Poker has been mehhh, feel like I've been running reallllllly bad, but it happens, trying to find/plug leaks in my game and control the things that I can control, EV and what not will even out in due time.
Other than that, life has been good, been working out, pwning racquetball and basketball a bunch, my roommate is movin out back home to New Jersey, so I might be taking the plunge and moving in w/ my g/f of 2+ years, it should be good, but definitely an adjustment!
Also, extremely excited about the Bulls so far, D-Rose has made huge strides w/ his game in adding a 3 point jumper to his already explosive game, Boozer has fit in great so far, only bummer is that Noah will be out 8-10 weeks, although their schedule isn't terrible over that time, so it shouldn't kill them.
Anyways, hope all is well w/ everyone out there, Happy Holidays and p-m as always if interested in coaching.
Oh, also, I'll be on one of JaymesBond's upcoming blogcasts, so look for that!

Hey Guys,
Just got back from Bahamas, will do a TR on that at some point later on. More importantly wanted to get some opinions on this trade.
12 team keeper league w/ 7 Keepers, my team is 6-1 and leading the league in points, got offered an interesting trade, my team right now is.
Standard Format:
QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, Flex, TE, Def, K
QB: Rivers,Carson Palmer
RB: Foster, Best, Mccoy, LT, Hillis
WR: Lloyd, OchoCinco, S. Smith Carolina, Maclin, D. Bess
TE: Tony Gonzalez, Owen Daniels
Def: Eagles
K: Vinatieri
It's a PPR league w/ .5 per reception.
Got offered: S-Jackson and Larry Fitzgerald
For: Mccoy and Maclin
What do you guys think??
Seems +EV to buy so low on Fitzgerald, while I'm a big Maclin fan, I think this might be as high as his value might ever be.
S-Jax is a beast as well, not sure I wanna rock the boat since my team is so solid/deep but this might be too good to pass up.
Also, he has Frank Gore as well, would it change your mind if I could get him instead of jackson?
Any other ideas to counter w/ or accept, etc, lmk.
Thanks!
Scott

What's up guys, been a long time.
Sorta forgot that I had a blog, gonna go bullet point fashion.
Poker
*Going well, this month trying for 50K hands of 1/2 6M, at like 30K hands and +5K, a bit behind the pace due to a a couple weekends of partying getting the best of me.
Coaching
*Been doing more coaching lately b/c I feel like I'm on top of my game and I also really enjoy coaching/watching people improve, have openings for a couple people, PM me if interested or w/ any questions.
Sports
*White Sox kinda wet the bed down the stretch, they were playin well for a long time but just kinda ran out of steam towards the end, hats off to the twinks though, they've been playing incredible baseball since the All Star Break.
Random
*I've gotten super into racquetball these last few months, I played a lot of tennis in college and what not and baseball/golf in high school, so I joined a racquetball league in June at my gym, I ended up winning the High "B" League, and I just love the competition/workout. Now in 2 leagues this fall which started last week that I'm enjoying a lot.
*Hopefully can get to 50k hands, gonna be tough b/c it's my girlfiend's birthday Monday and we're going out w/ a bunch of friends Saturday night, so Sunday is probably gonna be a lazy/hungover day.
Anyways, GL at the tables everyone!

If you're not an NBA Fan, might as well not read, just wanna blog a bit about LeBron James.
First off, I'm a Chicago Bulls fan and obviously would have been happy to have LeBron join the Bulls, but it's whatever.
The way in which he handled this entire situation as a selfish/arrogant/attention whore has just been laughable, it's really a joke how much attention this whole thing got and then LeBron deciding he has to announce his decision on a one-hour made for TV Special, "The Decision."
Meanwhile, guys like Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant quietly sign extensions w/out any attention drawn to themselves, even Wade and Bosh announced together on sportscenter in a brief interview of their decision, but LeBron needed more, which is sad, in a way.
What makes this whole thing very sad is not that all that, though. The truly sad thing is that he's born and raised in Cleveland, he's a hero there, a legend, basically a God, "King James." And, rather than being a classy/mature individual who respects where they came from, he decided that he'd go on National TV to essentially stab his hometown in the back. In the interview he mentions that he didn't any teams before this that he didn't choose them, that he just called the Heat right before. Not only is that just a massive stab in the back to an entire city that he's heralded as a king, it's unprofessional for the 5 other teams who did everything that they could to lure them to their cities.
Anyways, before this gets too long, my final thoughts on LeBron is that we really found out what kind of competitor he is. He's obviously the type that wants to throw in the towel and join a "super team" that almost guarantees him a championship (and probably more), Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, none of those guys would have ever done something like this. The most insane thing of all is that as a 25 year old he's already taking the easy road, if he was 32, 33 years old I could maybe understand it a bit more. For instance when Malone and Gary Payton signed with the Lakers in 2000 or whatever to try and have one last chance at a title, that's understandable, guys who have worked hard their whole career and haven't gotten a title, that's fine.
But, LeBron, you proved you wanted the easy way out.
I'm a huge sports fan, just wanted to vent, haha. This is cool btw.
