Fantasy Football Trade?

Hey Guys,

Just got back from Bahamas, will do a TR on that at some point later on. More importantly wanted to get some opinions on this trade.

12 team keeper league w/ 7 Keepers, my team is 6-1 and leading the league in points, got offered an interesting trade, my team right now is.

Standard Format:

QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, Flex, TE, Def, K

QB: Rivers,Carson Palmer
RB: Foster, Best, Mccoy, LT, Hillis
WR: Lloyd, OchoCinco, S. Smith Carolina, Maclin, D. Bess
TE: Tony Gonzalez, Owen Daniels

Def: Eagles

K: Vinatieri

It's a PPR league w/ .5 per reception.

Got offered: S-Jackson and Larry Fitzgerald

For: Mccoy and Maclin

What do you guys think??

Seems +EV to buy so low on Fitzgerald, while I'm a big Maclin fan, I think this might be as high as his value might ever be.

S-Jax is a beast as well, not sure I wanna rock the boat since my team is so solid/deep but this might be too good to pass up.

Also, he has Frank Gore as well, would it change your mind if I could get him instead of jackson?

Any other ideas to counter w/ or accept, etc, lmk.

This is -EV imo. Fitz has only 2 TD's this season and Jackson just had finger surgery and missed practice today, he will probably play but you are already stacked at RB. So leave it be. Both McCoy and Maclin should be untouchable to you.

Keep in mind I own Fitz in both leagues that I am in and dont know if I should bench him this week after keeping the faith for the first half of the season.

Snap ship this one, especially if you can get Gore. It's not like Fitzgerald is going to have Max Hall tossing him passes the next few years. SJax and Gore are great but I'd prefer Gore. I'm playing the same format, no keepers though.

No way.

The RBs wash each other out (possibly a slight edge to McCoy as he actually has a functional team around him compared to Jackson)

Maclin has much more potential than Fitz - he actually has a QB that can throw the ball to him, as well as other players on offense that can distract so he's not constantly double teamed.

The Eagles are just putting up too many points, and the weakness in their division in terms of defenses should allow for plenty of point potential.

I would snap call if you could swap Hillis for McCoy tho.

So you'd be drafting McCoy and Maclin next year before SJax and Fitzgerald? Let me get in your league!

It doesn't matter about functional team blah blah whatever, it's about who will put up the most imaginary points. Fitz is obviously bad this year, the trade would be for future seasons.

Also nice suggestion about trading himself his own player.

Cool, gl. I just traded Lynch/DeSean for Megatron. My league is exact same format as yours but no keepers:

QB Brees
WR Randy Moss, Megatron
RB McFadden, Jamaal Charles
Flex Tomlinson

My team is stacked and obviously bottom of the league. My run bad is legendary.

uhh. if you can get gore then do it. Gore is one of the most productive rbs year in and year out.

also, if moeaki is available then i'd start him this week at TE with gonzales on a bye. and the Rams D/ST is a solid pick up and is probably available. <<<I grabbed both of these this week in my 10 team league
