Short Sessions & Running Bad at the Immune System
Posted in Poker | View Comments (0)

So this weekend I got to play for a bit as well as catch a cold:

Sessions
I played a couple of session for about 1.5k hands total and was able to run up about 3BI which was nice. I ran about a BI under expectation, which was not nice, but that is life on FTP.

One thing that was nice about this session was that I really felt that I was in a groove in regards to pushing my edges and getting folds in some pretty decent spots. I am still working on the February Retooling items listed below and they have come along nicely.

My overly ambitious goal for March is to get back to Iron Man status on FTP. We will see how it goes. I would rather work on a higher goal and miss then shoot for Lead Man (or whatever the lowest level is, Bronze I think) when I could have hit something higher.

Sick
Head cold 4tl.

I stayed home from work today, but still had to push some emails around and field a few phone calls. I subsisted on basically hot water and Ricolae (plural of Ricola imo) today as I really hate eating when I cannot taste my food.

I was going to shoot for a short session tonight, but may have to either belay it or play lower stakes since my nose feels like it weighs 5 pounds.
