I lost 6 buy-ins today. That was the bad thing. The good thing was that it was all at 1/2. Guess its good that I use my bad luck at the lower limits and the good at the higher, right? I also 4-tabled today... Everytime (and yes I mean EVERYTIME) I have 4-tabled I have lost a decent amount of money. I dunno why I keep doing it.

Anyway as the challenge goes I'm almost at 30h already and moneywise I'm up $4,5k. I'm happy about my decision to move up and it really is the same game. Not any harder at all, you just have to get used to playing for more money When I started the challenge I was actually hoping that I would get a long breakeven stretch or a big downswing. I've been running so good this spring so I think I need to get used to long breakeven stretches if I'm gonna move up and start playing more seriously (as they are inevitable).

For now I will just focus on 2-3 tables again (this time I mean it), continue playing bad players at 2/4 and get the 100 hours in before the 7th of july.

So I figured I wont be playing 100h this month, I have simply been to lazy. But instead of making it 80h or something I decide to make the challenge 100h of poker in a 30 days span starting the 7th of june. I had my final exam the 6th of june so I didnt play at all the first week of june making my challenge too hard (for me) but between 7th of june and 7th of july I think I can make it done.

I played a very crazy session yesterday. I was 4-tabling hunl400 deep against very agressive opponents. I really shouldnt be doing that

First of all I cant really play my A-game at all while 4 tabling. I dont have time to think about my villains styles and how to adept. I only have time thinking about the current hand in progress. I still think I had an edge playing 4-tables but the edge is more like 2-3bb instead of maybe 7-8 while 2-3 tables. The swings are really crazy while doing this for me so I decide to stick to 2-3 tables this month at least.

I have also recived an email from party and they are running a really crazy promo this summer. If you play 160h of poker within 30 days you get the rest of the hours you play within the same 30 days rakefree (for a max of 80h). As I currently have problems getting 100h in in a 30 days period I dunno if this is anything for me. The promotion last until 2nd of august and I got the whole month free so I'm thinking about trying that challenge out in then. It would actually be a decent plan to grind it out now until the 7th of july. Take a couple of weeks off and then go for a crazy grinding month in august. We'll have see about that though as I think it might be too tough for me.

So I actually got some hours in today. Not much but it feels good to be back in the game! I have also bought HEM and am figuring it out now. It seems to be very very good for 6-max play but for HU I think PT2 and PAHUD is good enough. It got some cool features though and I def. think its worth the $80.

I might be assigning too wide of a range to my villains though since I'm still thinking about the hands as they would be played HU.

This isnt going well at all. If I want to have any chance at my 100h hour goal something need to change. The wheather has been awsome the last week and I have played close to nothing

Allright so I decided I wanted some place to keep track of my results and my goals so I figure why not here?

I have had a very good year so far resultwise but havent played alot. That is about to change though and my goal for june is not a bunch of cash (but hopefully I will earn some anyway) but 100 hours of quality time at the tables. I'm going to play exclusively heads up and will alter between playing 1-2 deep tables against decent opponents and 3-4 tables against loosepassives to both practice my "real game" and also to be able to multitable more than 2 tables more comfortably. I will probably stay at nl200 unless I go on a heater and then I might try my waters at nl400.

If anyone want to do anything similar (have a set # of hours to play in june) and want a propbet I might be intrested so send a pm if so Something like we send the other $20-$50 for each hour below 100 we play or whatever.
