So I actually got some hours in today. Not much but it feels good to be back in the game! I have also bought HEM and am figuring it out now. It seems to be very very good for 6-max play but for HU I think PT2 and PAHUD is good enough. It got some cool features though and I def. think its worth the $80.
I actually played 6-max for the first time in 2 months. I dunno if its smart to move up to 2/4 and 7-table after not having touched the game for a long time but it worked out good and I ended up 3 buy-ins. Some hands: ------------------ HAND #1 ------------------ Full Tilt Poker, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter UTG: $610.80 Hero (CO): $406 BTN: $665.40 SB: $599.50 BB: $423.90 Pre-Flop: T T dealt to Hero (CO)BB folds, UTG raises to $12, Hero raises to $39, BTN calls $39, SB folds, UTG calls $27 Flop: ($121) 5 5 6 (3 Players)UTG checks, Hero bets $77, BTN folds, UTG raises to $571.80 and is All-In, Hero calls $290 and is All-In Turn: ($855) 6 (2 Players - 1 is All-In)River: ($855) 3 (2 Players - 1 is All-In)Results: $855 Pot ($3 Rake) UTG showed 7 8 (a flush, Eight high) and WON $852 (+$446 NET)Hero showed T T (two pair, Tens and Sixes) and LOST (-$406 NET)BTN is a 31/9 donk and UTG a reg on the loser side. I have played him heads up at 1/2 and he sees me as aggro (and probably good but dunno about that ). I think this is fairly standard but I guess we can make case for coldcalling pre. As it plays out I cant really fold since UTG shoves QQ+ pre and I dont see many 6s in his range. I might be assigning too wide of a range to my villains though since I'm still thinking about the hands as they would be played HU.Next hand: Full Tilt Poker, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter UTG: $802 CO: $747.90 BTN: $138.90 SB: $396 Hero (BB): $836.70 Pre-Flop: K A dealt to Hero (BB)3 folds, SB raises to $12, Hero raises to $44, SB calls $32 Flop: ($88) Q 7 2 (2 Players)SB checks, Hero checks Turn: ($88) 6 (2 Players)SB checks, Hero checks River: ($88) 5 (2 Players)SB bets $72, Hero calls $72 Results: $232 Pot ($3 Rake) SB showed A 8 (Ace Queen high) and LOST (-$116 NET)Hero showed K A (Ace King high) and WON $229 (+$113 NET)I got a bit berated by the villain after that hand but I felt fairly good about calling here after checking twice. Villain is not the kind of player to valuebet thinly I have to add ![]() Now its time for beers on the beach! More playing tomorrow!
