Got a return flight to LA (from melb australia) for 1100 (USA and OZ dollar are 1 for 1)
so that was pretty sweet.

I still havent done my internal flights any advice on what US company to fly with to vegas then to New York and back to LA would be appreciated

I arrive on 17th June and staying at Aria for 7 nights which cost me 875 ( I took the secret 40% discount on expedia) was very happy to get Aria as it was the hotel I was most keen to stay at . as far as poker goes I wanna play the 1knl on Sunday the 17th but i get into LA at 730am and although Ill make it in time im not sure if I should be playing poker after a 14hr ++ flight. not to mention I need to check in and get a sim card organised (aussies have any tips?? get data??) etc etc

I fly to NY on the 24th and thru a friend I was able to get 6 nights in a Park ave hotel (3.5 star) for 400 for the whole trip (was 250 a night) ( i cant say how but nonetheless im pretty happy) then im in LA for a couple of nights if anyone has some advice on where are good places to stay in LA that ll be great. im not planning on doing much in LA other than see holywood and relax

Im really really excited and although I live in Australia america is a huge part of our culture Probably 70% plus of TV/movies I watch are AMerican made.

Well Ive finally decided to go to Vegas, Ive never left Australia before so Im obv looking forward to it. Im going alone as my friends are losers
I was probably going to stay at Vdara. the reviews seem pretty good and although I do like to party im happy to stay at a quieter hotel. I was gonna play golf or is it far to hot to consider? (Going in June).

The second part of the trip I was thinking of either going to NY for a week or do San fran portland seattle and vancouver and then do the East coast another time.

If anyone has any tips or better hotel advice please let me know

for example head to head is 1.95 v 1.85 excessive?

betfair has same game at 2.12 v 1.87 but a vig of 5% on winning bets
so adjusted its 2.01 v 1.78?? therefore its the same price regardless

can this edge be overcome in sportsbetting longterm?

its tough playing off my own moneyand losing ive worked really hard on my game and Im playing really really well just cant get that score to ease the pressure. so im torn between playing a lot cos im playing really well online and live but losing $$$ or stopping for a bit and losing my momentum and everthing ive learnt over the last couple on months, nothing makes u sharper than playing imo.

and cos im broke im not playing any tournys
Anyway I sit at 2/3 and its a soft table as in not particular aggressive and predictable
therefore I counter by playing particular aggro I think this is correct albeit more suceptable to variance.
my issue is; that to my right there were a lot of 30-50bb stack, so I was three betting and opening a lot getting flatted pre a lot but then im left with 1-1.5psb a lot of hands were played HU post flop and I was forced to effectively shove hands on flop with little equity, I still think in theory this is ok as they are going to whiff 2/3 of the time and sometimes I have a hand.

so the question is
a)do you think I should play more inline and just clean up when I have the best hand?
b)or move to a table with fuller stacks?
c) continue as is

B)or put pressure on pre cut down the amount of players and therefore my skill diff is greater and
I can win without the cards

I think if we are a bit deeper then B is good im not sure at these stack sizes and because crown has a max buy in of 200 im up against <100bb stacks a lot

im not playing well nor am i playing badly,maybe ive fogotten how to play tournys.

ive been playing mostly mini ftops and low scoop, ppl play bad and bluffing is futile, ive not ran badly as in bad luck im just card dead which is strange as ive always felt like my runbad was just suckouts or set ups. but recently ive had nothing which has triggered me to play impatiently or maybe ppl are much better and im underestimating thier hand reading.

only 18 months ago i would run up stacks so easily now when i have a big stack im not sure what to do as im unaccustemed to it. im forcing it to much but i need a FT for my confidence however i wont be playing much in june as ive decided to lpay a lot more live. I dont play NLcash online anymore so why live games are soft i think ill be focusing on that. PLO online is going ok and although im only winning small at my game plo506max ive ben winning from the start of me playing it and coming from tournys it suits me better as plo 100bb or less imost decisons are pre and on flop I quit when deep
