So i was chatting on aim with overbet and he mentioned something about the 3/6 games so i decided to take a shot. I played 2 tables for about 30 mins. I was up about 1/2 a buyin. So total i'm up a few buyins at 3/6 and down a few buyins at 5/10 when i have taken shots. The first few hands were boring i flopped a set made like 50$. I flatted a 3bet light jammed a good flop to jam. And the rest was super standard till i got to this hand.... i dunno i did something new but kinda weird not sure how i feel about it, plz let me know what you think.

So i been out a lot i went to LA for a week then i have been out seeing people all week. I saw a lot of my parents friends and just hung out in general. We had a nice new years party and now I'm back playing poker. So far this month I've played about half 9max and half 6max. I been doing 200nl 9max to just relax and get back into it after my break. After winning a few buyins i moved up to 400nl 6max and i think i played pretty well. I'm up about 1-2k since i got home. Last night i had a sweat session with tc and hes heading out to the PCA today, GL TC. His lesson was the best and i am going to try and push hard to play more 400nl 6max and move up quickly this year. I'm going to update more since i should be playing more regularly now.

So i moved down from 400nl today(sad day), the story goes basically... i won 10k$ at 400nl running at like 7ptbb 9 tabling the 6max on ftp. So i felt invincible and decided to cash out 5k$ 1.5 months ago. Then i kept winning at about that rate till i got to about 12k$ profit then i cashed out another 10k$ so in essence i had less in my account than what i started at 400nl with around 40buyins. Then i went up another 2kish but then a week later dropped about 4-5k$. Putting me lower than 40bis in my online roll. Thats where i was today. After the -5k i am now at 5ptbb over my sample 6-9 tabling. So to regain some confidence and what not i decided to move down even though i feel very comfortable at 400nl with 35ish buyins.

But ya i went to play some 200nl FR today since i was hungover from drinking with friends yesterday. I completely and utterly smashed it i hadn't played 200nl or FR in like 2-3months. But i was killing it so hard i felt like i was the only person at the table that was even +EV. I was reading ppl very well and did a few 2 street call downs with 3rd-4th pair. Ended up winning a little over 5bi in 1 hour. Its so stress free it makes me wonder if i ever want to move up... i am seriously thinking about going for SNE on stars, if i did i would 9 table 6max 400nl and 600nl 2-3 hours a day. Then i would 16-24 table 200nl 9nax for 2-3 hours a day. If i do this I'm going to upgrade my comp and get another 30" and get my grind on. The other options is to grind out 10-15k at 200nl-400nl-600nl 6max over the next 2 months and take some shots at 5/10 in feb or march. Its hard cuz i feel like 200nling with 400nl 6max, to sne is going to net me 200-400k and set me up in 2010 to make 700k-1mil if by that time i'm 9-12 tabling the 5/10 and 10/20 with 60%-70% rb. Or i could study hard and i MIGHT make it to 5/10 to 25/50 by late summer 2009, which i don't know how much that will net. So dunno kinda stuck trying to weigh the opportunity costs i have a feeling I'll be thinking about it a lot before jan 1st.
