btw why perth? are you stalking me?!

there is like, nothing of note in perth whatsoever, and the biggest city you can fly to in less than 4 hours has 50,000 people. it is the middle of nowhere.

but it's beautiful, fresh air, nice girls, beaches, good food, etc.

when I was travelling around in Australia(eastcoast) pretty much everybody who went to the westcoast aswell talked about how awsome Perth/Melbourne etc was. Is this wrong ?

yeah its a really nice and beautiful place etc, its just not a major world centre on the scale of something like Sydney or Melbourne and is usually not the first place ppl think of when u mention australia. basically is a city with 1.5million iirc,

its a really great place i dont want to discourage you from visiting, but just wondering what the aims of your trip are your interests, these things will tend to govern how much u like perth.

yeah basically there is melbourne (4M), sydney (4M), brisbane (2M) and adelaide (1.5M) on the east coast...

and perth (2M) on the west coast.

and that's it. so it's cool, but very isolated, whereas if you're in melbourne or sydney you're not only in a bigger city but you can do weekend trips to the other cities and to NZ very easily

we've acctually changed our route to Melbourne, and are as we speak getting WH visa online.
