Full Tilt Pulled the Plug.. now where?
Posted in Poker | View Comments (16)

Unfortunately, due to the recent Washington State Supreme Court ruling, real-money play at Full Tilt Poker is no longer permitted within Washington State.

In the interest of all of our players who play while in Washington State, we have invested significant time in legal consultation before coming to this decision.

Regrettably, with immediate effect this means that you will no longer be allowed to play for real money when located within Washington State.

I got an e-mail this morning and they decided to pull out from Washington State.. Now where am I off to? Are there any other Washington players on Leggo that are considering there options? I would like to hear your comments and thoughts.. possibly live pro? lol

the whole online poker situation is starting to get worse and worse IMO throughout the US. You're going to have to join one or more of the smaller sites adn figure out which one has the best combination of traffic, rakeback/bonus, and software. GL

i've heard on FT that you can play there as long as you're not in WA.. so maybe a VPN would work.. Stars on the other hand is a little more stricter i believe?

I was reading the sticky thread on 2+2 about the current state of online poker. I think it's leaning towards sites being able to legally do business in the U.S., with the exception that its restricted to U.S. players only, and winnings/losses have to become available to the IRS.

a guy i know who was effected by the Stars ban ended up making it work by claiming residency out of state.. and purchasing 4g cards and bringing them back to WA.. im gonna give a VPN a try and see if it works for FT which i think it should.. i'll keep you guys posted..
