4 more days of work...

...then I´ll finally be back on the grind and will have enough time I can dedicate to poker and sports. Semester break has been tough, beside the trip to france I´ve been working >6 days per week on average. I feel burned out and recognize how getting in less running kilometers, less time at the gym and of course less hands of poker makes me feel unhappy.

I´m counting the days until the semester starts again, fortunately I´m a fairly self-educating person who doesnt need to be in class all that much, I´m much more productive and effective when I´m learning all the stuff on my own. That way I´m having enough time during the semester to spend on studying and playing poker and thats what I should do, I´m almost breaking even for 20k hands now after catching a mean run of coolers.

This morning my internet didnt work and I believe that I missed out on a lesson with Matt, if you´re reading this: I´m sorry. I´m sharing the wireless with two housemates and the router is not located in my room, no way to fix it as long as my neighbour isn´t at home. I´m really considering getting my own internet connection.

Our group lesson last night went pretty well, although I was a bit tired and missed some details I still learned a lot. I felt halfway retarded at some point, when I wasn´t able to express all my thoughts in english, it kinda sucks to be the only person whos not speaking english as his first language, but I´m working on that. Overall it´s surprising how much my english skills have improved since I started playing poker, forums, blogs, videos and IM/skype conversations are poker and english exercises at the same time, which is awesome. I´m looking forward to the next session and am always down for sweats with other students of Matt, if you guys feel like talking some poker, discussing hands or sewating each other let me know and I´d be glad to learn from you.

One hand needs to be posted. Villians stats look fairly laggy around 33/28 or so over the 75 hands we´ve played that night, he plays 4 tables. My numbers are like 25/21 and we haven´t played a big hand together. I think preflop is fine, given his crappy LP range and I´m cbetting this flop almost always. On turn I figured his range to be composed of a lot of floating one pairs 77,88,TT,JJ plus AQ and 99 and the occassional AJ/T9/98.

I wondered about that. I just had the same issue today. All is forgiven.

I bet smaller on this flop (16ish) and barrel th turn depending on feel and whats happened the last few orbits. I think vs someone that i have little to no 3 bet pot history with I c/f the turn most of the time. You could also gay bet it to make him think you want him to shove, and get a cheap river out of it.

I would bet around 18 on the flop, expecting him to play pretty honest. If I have no other info I just give up on the turn, maybe based on dynamics I would bluff the river, but it's tough without anything specific.
