So I my blog is till top ten under the "members"-tab. Seems like u other guys dont post much as well, do you? 2008 is over, a new year has begun. Im playing 100NL at ongame and feel okay. My emotional control and scheduling has improved a lot, thanks to StudentCaines vids and help from friends and I feel its the first time I can handle the negative variance without making it worse. gonna keep you updated the next days.

Today I was all in twice, once with top set vs overpr+gutter and once with AA vs KK pre. Both times I sat here literally praying my hand would hold up. This is going to scare me.

I am roughly breaking even for this month, according to HM 6 buy ins below expectation, not counting several two outer that were caught on more expensive streets vs my overpair or underset. This is the last time I´m posting a beat or complain about swinging down, if I´ll continue whining and *****ing about running bad here, I´m gonna pay the person to remind me $5 on stars.

Alright, so I got scammed for the first (and definetly last) time in my life. User Doni2488 is not a trustworthy person and you shouldn´t do any money transfer with him. I was desperately trying to get rid off $200 I had stuck on cake and he offered 220, so I took the risk. Meh, make fun of me, I definetly deserve it.

Both hands happened within few minutes vs the same villian. I had to quit my session, but not before I monkeyed off another stack. Obv I have a tilt problem and thats whats blocking my progress for the most part.
Today I went for a walk, listening to the notwist. I came to realize, that its not the beat themsalves whats phasing me, it´s more complicated. I can handle the occassional two outer, not a big deal when I´m losing a couple of flips in a row. I mean, I´ve been running awful lately, but I´m smart enough to see where I´m running bad and where I´m playing bad, but until today I couldnt exactly identify whats pulling the trigger to put me on tilt. It´s not the beat, it´s the person beating me. OMG it´s the people.
Looking back at last night and the hands.
#1: Sucks to be me, but whatever. Maybe I´ll never play him again, but if I dont I´m gonna put a two outer on another guy one day.
#2: Actually I´m really happy with this hand. His equity sucks balls vs my range here and he didnt win any money off me. He won a pot and made a huge mistake.
Wheres my problem? Hard to explain, but I´ll try to write it down:
That guy is a bad player over whom I figure to have an edge. He took 2 buy ins off me. Sometimes my fried brain decides to imagine how that guy feels like he´s way better than me, now that he took my money. I can´t stand that, I´m not used to people making fun of me. I want to be better than everyone else at my tables (we all do) but I want everyone else to know that (good players dont do that). I am aware that there are a million players around better than me and its not a big deal if they actually ARE better. Guys who are not better but feel and act as if they was make me really mad.
For the next 10k hands I´m gonna set up my hud that way, that I cant see my opponents screennames and take the names out of the HM hud and see how it turns out.
Of course, this is probably some stupid drunk thought and you´re ahsking your head now. I´m gonna get back to this when I´m sober tomorrow.

...then I´ll finally be back on the grind and will have enough time I can dedicate to poker and sports. Semester break has been tough, beside the trip to france I´ve been working >6 days per week on average. I feel burned out and recognize how getting in less running kilometers, less time at the gym and of course less hands of poker makes me feel unhappy.
I´m counting the days until the semester starts again, fortunately I´m a fairly self-educating person who doesnt need to be in class all that much, I´m much more productive and effective when I´m learning all the stuff on my own. That way I´m having enough time during the semester to spend on studying and playing poker and thats what I should do, I´m almost breaking even for 20k hands now after catching a mean run of coolers.
This morning my internet didnt work and I believe that I missed out on a lesson with Matt, if you´re reading this: I´m sorry. I´m sharing the wireless with two housemates and the router is not located in my room, no way to fix it as long as my neighbour isn´t at home. I´m really considering getting my own internet connection.
Our group lesson last night went pretty well, although I was a bit tired and missed some details I still learned a lot. I felt halfway retarded at some point, when I wasn´t able to express all my thoughts in english, it kinda sucks to be the only person whos not speaking english as his first language, but I´m working on that. Overall it´s surprising how much my english skills have improved since I started playing poker, forums, blogs, videos and IM/skype conversations are poker and english exercises at the same time, which is awesome. I´m looking forward to the next session and am always down for sweats with other students of Matt, if you guys feel like talking some poker, discussing hands or sewating each other let me know and I´d be glad to learn from you.
One hand needs to be posted. Villians stats look fairly laggy around 33/28 or so over the 75 hands we´ve played that night, he plays 4 tables. My numbers are like 25/21 and we haven´t played a big hand together. I think preflop is fine, given his crappy LP range and I´m cbetting this flop almost always. On turn I figured his range to be composed of a lot of floating one pairs 77,88,TT,JJ plus AQ and 99 and the occassional AJ/T9/98.

As ae said, there are days where u cant win a dime no matter what u do. several coolers were taken that I didnt mind, but nits tilt me, paying off nits tilts me more and losing a huge pot vs a stupid guy whos ***** enough to limp JJ but calls off a 130BB stack on a bare gutshot kills me. he didnt even shove, HE CALLED. hands like this make me wanna cut myself and vs nits like him it makes me hate life and the world and I wanna go golfing with little birds as balls and randomly shout at strangers in the city. Seriously, wtf did he think? I HAS GUTSHOT, I CALL! I´m emotional instabile atm and am very proud of myself that I quit playing for tonight. Going to the bar now, tilt management with dirty martini and tabletop soccer. Cheers
I have BB as 16/4 over 700

After having a sucky monday in poker I chose to sit out today and probably tomorrow to avoid tilty moves. I´m violating my 90-minutes-daily-rule, yet I´m sure it´s +ev. Instead I spent the time dirtjumping all alone on our local trail to practice one ****ing trick and finally I got it. Dude, life can be so easy. I really want to do some photoshopping to put together some nice sequencies of some jumps, but I can´t get a clean version of ps cs3 anywhere.

Chatting via instant messengers during poker sessions is one of my biggest leaks. I just turned a solid winning session into a break even story. I wish my mom would have never discovered the internet or msn. Seriously, I love my mother, but nothing tilts me as hard as she does. Could be, retarded play by me tilts me even worse, I´m not sure yet.
