The name Peter Jetten is starting to spring from the mouths of all types of poker players. Currently on the WPT tour, Peter is also the runner-up of the 2008 World Series of Poker PLO $10,000 Championship, cashing for over $528,000. The 23 year old from Toronto left his studies at the University of Western Ontario, where he was double majoring in philosophy and history, to become fully immersed in his poker career.
When it comes to poker, Peter has pretty much played it all. Starting out playing mostly tournaments, this former camp counselor and bartender didn’t discover cash games until the end of 2004. Once he made this switch, however, he began to propel through the limits. Although $10/$20 NL and $25/$50 NL are his current bread and butter, Peter also frequents higher stakes in both NLHE and PLO. As he continues his march towards the top of the poker food chain, Peter hopes to expand his business interests and add to his real estate portfolio; all while he maintains his place on the LeggoPoker roster.
