Leggo Poker Every Tool You Need To Win

Ronald W. plays a game of balance. You may know it as poker. In his years of playing and honing his game, he’s discovered that the key to success is making sure that both your technical skill and emotional control are at similar levels. “The integral mark in my career was putting a high focus on the mental game,” he says. “Once I started tilting less, not only did I spew less, but I was able to think more clearly.”

While he’d like to work on holding himself accountable to put in more volume, Ronald’s best skill as a poker player is accurately predicting how other players will play their ranges throughout a hand, and figuring out how to optimally play his own hand based on what he can rep on three streets. That skill didn’t develop out of nowhere: it’s a result of following his own advice and studying poker as much as he plays it.

That being said, he has one piece of advice for players who want to improve (other than joining Leggo poker, of course): spend as much time away from the tables working on your game as you do on the tables. “The biggest mistake for a lot of players is not putting the work in away from the tables,” Ronald advises. “As you watch videos, review hands, and post on 2+2 your game will improve. Then you can shift to an 80-20 play/work ratio, or even 90-10.”

Ronald himself joined Leggo for the high-quality content and great community created by the producers. In the coming years, he sees himself still heavily involved in poker and making videos at Leggo. He has high aspirations to move up stakes and be more aggressive with his roll, and to really challenge himself to play the best players. Leggo has played a big part in improving his game, and he’s looking forward to giving back to the community and forming some long-lasting connections with players here.
