Leggo Poker Every Tool You Need To Win

At age 15, Robert started playing three-handed freeze-outs with his two older brothers. They played for pennies. His game began to come together when he attended Leeds University, where he discovered a poker society. £10 freeze-outs and 10p/10p home games were typical before making the jump to online poker. Robert started with micro sngs and mtts, then moved up quickly from 6’s to 109’s. He noticed the profitability of cash games and jumped into 2/4 games. He never looked back.

Today, you can find this 21-year-old from Doncaster, UK, playing anywhere between 2/4 and 10/20 NLHE on Pokerstars. Not bad for a former part-time worker at a supermarket.

In the past, Robert had trouble with tilt when attempting to move up in stakes. Emotional issues often resulted in failed shots, requiring him to move back down and regrind his roll. At times, he would run his roll up to 60k, only to drop 50k in a day playing 200/400 limit games, while under rolled. Now, he says, “I am much more in tune with my mental and emotional state when I am playing. In short, I am much better at quitting nowadays. Tilt control and bankroll management have - by far - been the biggest obstacles I have faced as a poker player.”

Robert credits training sites, especially Leggo Poker, for his rapid development as a player. The resources available - combined with hard work - made it possible to achieve success. He explains, “I believe a great deal just depends on the individual. If he has the right attributes as a person and the right mindset as a poker player, it just comes down to how much they want success and how much they are prepared to do to get it. So much information is available to players if they look hard enough. Some people will never, ever, become decent poker players, but if you have the attributes and mindset I mentioned, then the sky is the limit “

In the future, Robert will continue to play poker, as he explores some business ventures and investments. "Poker will always be a huge part of his life," he admits. And you can bet on that.

Coaching

Robert is currently looking for a small group of students to coach on a long term basis. The group will be limited to a maximum of five players. I will put together a five lesson (two hours each) program for each student tailored specifically towards his individual style of play.

For Robert to design your program, he requires:
a) A 30-minute video with commentary.
b) A brief written explanation of your poker history and your short/mid/long term goals. (The above should include some thoughts about yourself as a player, your strengths, weaknesses, worries: anything you feel is important.)

Lessons will typically be split in to two sections, usually containing 60-90 minutes of sweats and/or video review and 30-60 minutes of theoretical discussion with hand examples.

If you choose to join Robert's program you will have access to a private forum where group members can discuss sweats and make suggestions re the program. Additionally, you will able to access lesson reviews which will be written by Robert. These reviews will detail your progress in each lesson and future goals for your development as a player.

Robert also offers individual coaching sessions. This will typically be a review of a session you have played and recorded. If you send him a 45-60 minute video without audio, he will record his analysis of the session. Analysis will cover hand by hand discussion and general discussion on your style as well as any leaks you may have. You will also have the option of discussing this analysis with Robert in further detail through instant messaging; a 30-minute review of the analysis is available for $100.

If you have any questions regarding these two coaching options please contact Robert on leggopoker via PM.
