Yes of course, there are Skype/Ventrillo/TeamSpeak etc ... but you can't get everyone on the same "room". And mIRC is still very used for CS/Wc3 and DotA ^^ And I actually like it. It is nice to see people sharing their hands and discuss about them and make a "debate"
