Unhappy Quality of leggopoker

I'm not a native speaker, so I'll keep it simple and straight to the point.

I subscribed to leggopoker somewhat of a month, maybe two ago.

I was already familiar with cardrunners, bluefire and DC.

I chose Leggo this time because of some of its coachs, namely nutsinho, aejones, theashman, sauce, boywonder, etc, and its much to my disapointment that this site just hasn't been providing good enough material. At least, not like once did.

I know that blackfriday has affected "us all" (it wasn't a pun), some to further extent than others, but if Leggo is still open to new subscribers, then it should keep its old standards. I still remember when some of my friends talked about its new videos. Well, not anymore.

Take bluefire and samoleus, for instance: since he got butf*cked with blackfriday also, he now posts hand reviews from his live sessions.

I'm sorry if this post does not bode that well for your site, but I am truly disapointed, and unless the content starts to step up, I'm going to have to step down when the time comes.

I hope you understand.

I don't know, leggo is pretty stacked in my opinion and a lot of the pros post in the forums and respond to comments to their videos. In fact I can't think of a pro who doesn't do that.

I'm not taking anything away from bluefire since I think it's great as well, but you can get a free membership from leggo by generating $500 mgr by signing up for rakeback through them. Bluefire doesn't have this and it's a bit more expensive than leggo. Right now I can't afford it but if I could I'd subscribe to both.

I think you're missing my point, I'm not saying that Leggo is lacking MicroStakes videos.

Neither am I specifically comparing bluefire with it.

Hey AJL_5,

Thanks for the feedback. In order for Leggo to get use out of it I'd like to get some specifics, either here or via skype (porkandbean). I will try to address your points and concerns with the information you have already provided.

Some of the pros you listed in your first post have not been as active as I'd like either, however, Leggo does have a number of very successful and articulate players who play well above micro stakes and are consistently creating great content. I'm not sure of the stakes you play (I would like to know if possible) but it seems you've listed all of Leggo's star power while not even acknowledging some very talented players and producers who always get great feedback and ratings with videos well above the micro stakes level. Perhaps you are in the top 0.5% of players can only learn from former or current nose bleed players and if that's the case please disregard my previous comment but consider this - Leggo is not catering only to your player type and ability. And if it was your video subscription would cost a lot more!

As games became tougher and high stakes games have dried up, many players moved down accordingly. In turn this has made video producers and training sites adjust the content provided in order to continue providing value to a wide audience. In 2008 Leggo had a very different mix of video subscribers.

I'd suggest a couple things to you and hopefully the following suggestions allow you to get more value out of your subscription.

Try watching some videos at applicable stakes from producers you might not have heard of - they are a part of Leggo for a reason. If you provide me with the limits you play I'd be happy to make some suggestions.

Go to the videos page and filter by "type" then pick "directed learning." A variety of content on specific topics will be displayed which should be useful for many players.

Thanks for taking the time to post and I hope my suggestions help.

Matt

I'm beginning to feel the similar to AJ tbh. The quality of the videos lately seems below par and where are the higher stakes videos? Everything seems to be at 200nl. Pretty sure its been well over a month now since I saw something 600nl+.

i will have a 5-10 series coming out at the end of the month. since black friday there are a few of our higher stakes pros that have money tied up on ftp or haven't been playing much above 5-10. i'm sure that'll change in the new year. the landscape of training sites have changed but i think we've moved pretty effectively in the last year towards combining the kind of directed learning videos that people need to understand the fundamentals with live play videos.

I wish you's could get Bttech to make more vids, I essentially get Leggo membership every so often to watch his vids, Harangutang's and dougiedans. All top vid makers.

I've spoken with Ben a couple times about making more videos and I'm sure Aaron has as well. No luck so far but I still hope he will reconsider at some point.

Ben, if you're reading this, please reconsider making vids. I have an evil stepfather and he makes me watch at least one Bttech vid per day. If I don't, he beats beats me mercilessly with his prosthetic leg. I really need a new video Ben, help me out here.

* seriously though, Bttech vids are some of the best I've ever seen, and it be great to see some more
**only NLHE though, Omaha is the devil
