Default Re: Interesting poker related question

Well there's a difference between Poker and NL Holdem. If your gonna teach all the different games. And then you have tournament, sit&go, cash. HU, 6-max, Full ring. Different stakes. Online or live.

A complete Poker education could take a long time. Though ofc no 1 teacher would be enough.

I think you can teach poker endlessly because the game is constantly evolving. But I think it shouldn't have to take more then 1 month of real school, 7-8 hours 5 days a week, to make someone decent at NL Holdem in a specific strategy (MTT/Sit&go/cash). That's assuming no prior knowledge, you'd have to teach them that a flush beats a straight...

Me personally I guess I could teach NL Holdem basics for 2 hours maybe .
