Default The BIG Update

Dear LeggoPoker Members,

February 29th - Leap Day. Originally created by the Romans, the leap day mainly functions to confuse us every four years, temporarily becoming significant, and then slowly backing away, only to return the next leap year. However, this practice ends here. The poker community will experience February 29 as the day the greatest educating poker ensemble in history came together.

1. Update on Poker Training Videos
2. LeggoCast
3. Concept Videos
4. “The Cage”
5. Other Attractions at LeggoPoker

1. Update on Poker Training Videos

LeggoPoker has always prided itself with providing viewers the hands down best NL Hold’em videos and training on the internet. Everything present on the site focuses on the evolution of each and every member as a poker player. As encouraged students forge through the rankings and the limits of the games, LeggoPoker provides stepping stones that allow everyone to improve and excel at unparalleled rates. Our coaches have thrust an unmatched bar far into the air, but this bar is about to get ever higher.

We will be adding an unspecified (it’s a secret ;-) ) amount of coaches who are phenomenally skilled, and have conquered the top echelon of NL Hold’em in multiple areas. Additionally, we will be increasing our video output from four to five (or more) videos per week.

Accordingly, there will be an increase of prices. It is well documented that video training sites hold tremendous value, and LeggoPoker certainly is at the forefront of that statement. However, due to the exceptional product currently offered, and the talent to come, prices will change on February 29, 2008, to the following schedule:

Signup Fee: $100
Monthly Fee: $30
Six Month Subscription (Includes Signup Fee): $230
Twelve Month Subscription (Includes Signup Fee): $400

There will be a two month grace period for any current or subscribing members at the current prices. That means that all monthly subscribers will still only pay the normal $24.95 monthly rate for March and April. Additionally, any subscription purchases occurring between now and February 29 will be under the current pricing schedule. Please note that anyone that has a subscription before February 29 will not have to re-pay any start up fees (you will have to upgrade your current paypal subscription to $30/month and more information will be available to you about this before May 1). Also note that all annual subscribers (that paid the $299.40 through either PayPal or a site transfer) will not be affected by the price change until their subscription expires.

2. LeggoCast

LeggoPoker features an eclectic group of coaches, who are both friendly and approachable. We would like to showcase our personable side, and have decided to do so through a weekly audio broadcast deemed the LeggoCast. Each week, a different guest will be featured on the program from all different areas: coaches, members, and outside individuals. Topics will also be very broad, allowing for everyone to sit back, relax, and be entertained.

The first episode will feature LeggoPoker Pro Craig Boyd (craigthedeac), and will center around his recent 1st place finish in the PokerStars Sunday Second Chance Tournament for just over $53,000.

3. Concept Videos

A popular request in the forum and support lines has been designing a video away from the tables to teach specific ideas, or have focuses in a few areas. LeggoPoker has taken these requests and created Concept Videos. These videos will feature select topics discussed in explicit detail once a week on Fridays. The first Concept Video will appear in early March, and will discuss winning millions of dollars in poker. Well, indirectly at least…

4. "The Cage"

The Cage is LeggoPoker’s branded version of the popularized 2+2 Well. A Pro will answer all questions, poker or life related, for a period of time. This will allow members to pick the Pros’ minds, and also offer more insight into the life of each individual. The first Cage will feature Greg Brooks (MYNAMEIZGREG), and it will begin the weekend of the 23rd of February. Check out the LeggoPoker Forums today and participate in The Cage!

5. Other Attractions Coming Soon

LeggoPoker will be adding even more FREE resources in the near future. Emphasizing the community feel, the following tools are due to be released:

- The ability for members to upload videos and watch their peers as they play. Groups formed in the forums can now conveniently upload their learning tools to the website, avoiding long lines at other public sites.

- A hand history output within our converter, allowing users to save and show hands via unique URLs to others in a friendlier and more aesthetically pleasing format.

- A database for poker modifications and hotkey scripts. Many poker players enjoy using different card or table modifications, bet pot scripts, etc. to enhance their playing experience. LeggoPoker will be hosting a virtual warehouse for these types of tools.

LeggoPoker would like to extend a thank you to every LeggoPoker member, and anyone that has ever found their way on to the site. Our top notch poker community would not be possible without its budding members, and everything we do focuses around this concept. We have worked unbelievably hard to create the best possible product in the poker education world, and it is our responsibility to maintain that high level of quality going into the future. The upcoming events and surprises planned will be nothing short of spectacular, and well-deserved. Thank you all for your unfading support, and here’s to a great journey!

Best Wishes,
The LeggoPoker Team

You guys are the best, and I'm looking forward to the updates. Btw, I hope the new coaches aren't going to take the focus away from 6max and HU cash games. The reason why some other sites have become less valuable to me over time is that they have diversified the types of videos offered way too much, diluting the cash videos to where you are waiting too long between getting them. imo
