Hi my name is Mike.I am new to this forum and so not sure if this is the right place for this,and so if it isnt,tell me where to go and I go post this there.


I have been playing for 5 years now.I made a small $25 to $50 dollar deposit,but hand bad bankroll management and went bust.And then after that the USA and Washington State made playing poker online for real money into a class c felony,but still legal to play in freerolls and use money from that to play online.


My record,and this is not to brag,is that at local casino's in spokane WA,USA, I have played in 50 $12 buy in 75 player tourneys 25/50 starting blinds,13-15 min blind levels.
17 final tables 13 cashes.Biggest Cash Northern Quest Casino: $35 dollar buy in 100 dollars,tie and equal chop for 1st place for $700


Online.6000 player 2004 vegas trip 20k main event promo freeroll top 2 finishers win prize finished 3rd place 1 spot shy of winning main event seat 20k trip to vegas.


4000 player round 2 250k promo freeroll at UBnet finished 14th place after getting bad beated 8 times in row out in 23 hands 5 spots shy of final table spot on TV playing for chance to win 250k.


4000 player round 2 trip to Aruba promo freeroll at UBnet.chip leader 500k all in preflop QQ,I 400k chips call all in AA,out I go in 10th place 1 spot shy of final table TV spot to play for chance to win trip to aruba.


Won 12000 man round 1 2000 dollar hubble freeroll at Poker stars.


Cashed in Bodog freeroll 2 times over last month.


Cashed in Fulltilt Poker $100 freeroll. 2 times Cashed in Absolute poker's $50 freeroll. 2 times.


Finished in top 20 Qualified for round 2 of 250k promo freeroll at Cake Poker 2 days ago,round 2 to be held this saturday.


finished in top 2 of 360 play poker after dark round 1 freerolls to qualify for round 2 of poker after dark promo freeroll series about 13 times.Qualified for round 3 1 time.


The reason why I posted how I have done over the last 4 years,is that I have come oh so very close,because of some of the most horrific donk bad beats that I have taken,that has kept me oh so very close and short of winning big time money.


Now some people suggest that its just extreme murphy of poker bad luck and variance that is to blame for this,and some suggest that it was bad play responsible.
I do have flaws or leaks in my game.They include:I sometimes take unnecessary risk and chances,I sometimes overanalyze,I sometimes play to many suited connectors,etc.


So to test to see if this is bad luck or bad play etc,I have devised an experiment.And this is that when I play in any poker game or tourney or session.I have to report the results on it thru hand histories.There is no skipping any game,if I play a game that goes bad and I play bad,no matter how embarrassing it might be,I still have to immediatly report the results in HH form here in this thread or topic.


The point of this is that,if I go on a bad run,this will show whether it is because of bad play,or bad luck,or both,and if I go on a good run,this will show whether it is good play,or good luck or bad play and good luck etc.


Now some ground rules.If people want to post comments in response to this fine,but please make it constructive comments and understand that I or anyone else may agree or disagree,and may listen or not listen,and may apply or not apply what or if anything is said in response.If any 2 people or more disagree with each other,please dont fight etc.


Also please dont troll or flame.I dont want to hear someone say something like this for example:"Your the stupidest most moronic most idiotic player in the history of poker,because you stupidly pushed yor AK all in preflop and so u deserve to have yor AK called and beat by 72 u dumbass".


Also if anyone want to try the same experiment as me,and or want to post Hand histories,they can if they want to.


To start off this thread I will post the results to the 250k promo freeroll at Cake poker I qualified for 2 days ago by finishing in top 20.Also I am gona play in the bodog poker $500 freeroll soon.
