As far as hard work goes, in the pokerworld, I imagine him being second to none. He had a lot of influence over my bankroll considerations in my early career and basically made me refuse having a losing month by putting in volume (still havenīt had that). Maximizing your small edge, was one of his most imprtant messages. At the time I was thinking, if there was one single person in the world that I would want to bankroll it would be Dusty, because it would be a guaranteed, variance-free, significant return on the investment.

As I have mentioned, I had very little idea about huds and stats and red lines for a very long time. I was basically only into handreading, and mindfulness. This was my base. Getting PT3 (I always thought it was HEM, now I remember it was PT3), I became familiar with it and saw that that the red line was something I could affect (initially I thought that all winning players were losing money in nswdn and that players that overplayed hands were winning nswdn but losing overall - I thought a sinking red line was a good thing at one point, standard). I canīt remember if I was answered (pm thread please if you can), but I think it was around this time that I began to see improvements in my red line. One of the very first aha-moments for me was realizing that my red line could go up by c-betting less. Wait, what? Non-showdown pots can go up by less agression in some spots? Huge moment for me.
I was much nittier back then, but realized you could play 22 / 18 with a slow climbing red line by looking at some of the best opponents at my limits at the time. Another aha-moment. But I managed to fix it one step at a time, beginning with c-betting less and then experimenting with a thousand different other things.
yeah Im kinda confused on how the redline would go up by cbetting less on the flop, I guess by puttin in a fair amount of raises on turns and rivers?
