Simple question. I've noticed on your videos that you don't play with as many buy ins as I would have thought. Any specific reason you do this? If you are capable of making big deposit to a site, which method do you usually do?

Hey Alex,
Thanks for the compliments!
From November-January, I didn't keep much money online at all because I knew I didn't have time to play (too much work with Leggo). So I took a lot offline. If I needed to redeposit I would have used a wire. In Feb, I got back into playing an putting in hands, and I didn't redeposit, but rather "ran up" my rolls on FTP and PS.
I have the majority of my money in short term investments (stocks, mutual funds, etc) where it would have been easy to get out, but I figured that 3 months more or less of inactive money online wasn't a great idea.

What would be some general advice you'd give NL100 player who want to be solid winners and move up?
The "click" you're telling about in your life story, can you give some examples of things that suddenly started making sence?
edit: also, you're probably the best video coach I've ever seen. You make it sound so easy and you explain it super briefly. Keep it up for donks like me!
edit2: i posted in the custom title thread, small chance i'd get one?

I have one 2/4 player, and a bunch of 5/10 regs on Stars and FTP (I will eventually coach them all ).
I do a mix of sweating, hh review, and lecturing, all of which work very well when applicable. However, I make myself available via phone, IM, or email to my students, and make sure they understand that coaching is about the student, not the coach.

3 best players in your opinion on Stars 5/10? Stars 10/20? Same for FT.
Thanks.

when you started taking poker seriously (i mean when "it clicked" or when u started winning decent monies at 400+) did u spend most your poker time just playing or analyzing hands, doing math, reading forums, etc? Did you review your hands after each session? How much time did you you learn off the tables compared to playing, and what ways of learning improved you most?
It's so hard for me to find that balance between learning(off the tables) and playing. I usually just play all the time and read only few hands in the forums every day and sometimes read some article or watch a video (1-2 a week). And i see that im not improving very much this way, but i do make good monies. When prolonged bad run comes i do poker break, start reading some poker book, which i never finish, start analyzing more hands, read more forums and 2p2 archives and such. After that i feel i come back to tables as improved player. I once again make good monies, but improve not much... and the cycle continues.
Im beating 2/4 and 3/6 6max games on ps for decent but far from great winrate (4ptbb/100 for 200k hands) and i see so much room for improvement. I mean i try to plan my hands, but nevertheless i encounter lots of situations where im not sure what to do. But when i watch your videos, you seem to have a good idea what to do even in most speculative and tricky spots. You can make a sick call and lose, but still you say very confidently "i think made the right call there"
I really enjoy the game and i want to get really good at it. I can also afford to spend lots of time on it. But i think im not doing it in most effective way. What would you suggest to player like me?
Also do you think getting a coach would be very good idea for player like me?
edit: gee sorry, it got much longer than i imagined

Reviewing your sessions is hands down the most underrated thing in poker. Along those lines is showing people hands that you don't know the answers to, or have difficult spots in, and then ask why to every response they give you.
Your edit: Thanks!
Edit 2: Keep posting and you will
