Depends? I mean seriously I have yet to experience someone who is a relentless 3better of my SB opens. I guess in all honesty a caller his harder to deal with. I am going to be playing OOP and they can float or raise so many cbets. Yet when 3bet I am again put in a tough spot OOP with a marginal holding the majority of the time. In all honesty someone who fights back will give me hell because I am OOP.

This leads me to ask this. When playing BTN vs CO how much do you vary calling and 3betting and why? It almost feels like calling can become more profitable because of the extra bet we will be extracting if villain likes to cbet and shutdown. Yet when we 3bet light we force villain to react which typically leads to them making mistakes.

Greg this would be my first post on Leggo poker and i would like to say that you've done an amazing job with the site so far.

I play 5/10 -25/50 depending on how soft the games are on FTP under U_2Good4_Me and was wondering what your approximate winrate in 10/20 and 25/50 6 max are. I primarily play FR now because i find the games alot more profitable these days and i was wondering what your thoughts on that is.

I'm still not as comfortable playing 25/50 when there isnt at least 1 donkish type player at the table so i was wondering what you would recommand for that because i felt like my results have increased significantly after i started taking notes, but still not to the point of satisfaction.

Thanks Greg

I have a wide range that I will play BTN vs CO. I will generally be calling with the middle of it, and 3betting with the top and bottom of it. I will fold the bottom of that range sometimes, too.

You are on to something. Too many people don't actually utilize position well preflop, and not calling enough is a large problem.

Thanks for your compliments! Your name sounds very familiar, was it your name on either Party or UB?

We've actually played a couple times when I tried FR (I'm lolmonies) but I don't remember anything specific about your game (since it was FR we probably didn't play any hands ). I personally find it difficult to play FR (I find myself not paying enough attention because something more is always going on at my 6m tables) so I kind of stay away from them unless there is a big fish on there (that I know from my 6m table most likely lol).

As far as winrates, I'm pretty sure that 3-4ptbb at 10/20+ is considered a great winrate, so use that as a benchmark. In terms of your 25/50 troubles, is it mental? Do you physically think you are going to lose when you get ready to play? If so, have a buddy watch you and keep you in line until you get a chance. If not, what types of situations are you getting into that are difficult? Why are they difficult? Then find the answers to those questions .

I think mostly its just im a game selection nit and i refuse to wit with just people i know are regulars.

I heard most of the high stakes regulars have moved onto European sites like prima. Do you prefer that more because i heard its alot softer

Btw i couldnt agree with you more about the short stacks ruining high stakes games and i think its a problem that must be fixed

ive been experimenting with opening from the SB against good players to 4x instead of 3x and i feel like i get alot more respect and have to play less pots BvB, what do you think of this strategy?

Hi Greg thanks for making this site it turned me from being broke clueless fish into a decent winner at ssnl,so I def think it was one of the best investments in my life.

I have 3 questions for you:

1.When the ssnl europe group will start?

2.Could you give out some good examples of when overbetting the pot might be good,I mean in what conditions it is good to overbet and why?I am really curious about this

3.I have lots of time ATM and I am pretty happy with my game, however I think that I am putting in WAY too little hands,I am usually watching like 2-3 vids everyday and play around 2k hands and then analyze this later,I know that I have enough time to do at least twice that much but I feel tired already, any hints on motivating yourself etc?

also I always fear that I will start playing bad/running bad and go broke, although I know that I have considerable edge in the games I play and I am overrolled, did you have any problems with that or could you advice me something ?
It is only a problem at nl200+,lower than that I do not have that feeling and I am used to nl100 pots.

I could ask a lot of really good questions that would actually contribute to me learning something, but I'm just itching to know, why "leggo"?

Great job with the site Greg. I definitely think that your range of pros is excellent, and your personal videos are my favourite across all training sites.

I have two questions:

1. How long do you see yourself playing poker for and what do you plan on doing in the future?

2. What did you have in that hand against me?!

Obviously it's necessary to answer both questions truthfully!

Dodgy
