Creatine causes increased water retention, which is where the initial weight gain comes from. Cell Tech is basically just creatine and a ****load of simple sugars; you'll be served much better by buying a high-quality bulk creatine product and then mixing it with Gatorade powder if you want to take carbs with it.
You can gain anywhere from 5-10 pounds from initial water weight, depending on your body type. Obviously you can't count this as a muscle "gain" since you will lose the water weight after you come off. The true benefit of creatine is that it lets you more fully stimulate your muscle fibers by providing a secondary source of cellular energy; you wind up performing more reps with more weight. The greater the stimulation, the more you will grow...the growth is a function of your diet and training and is not directly influenced by the creatine.
