Shake/Meal replacement
It is hard to have 5 or so quality meals a day so I try to have 1 or 2 shake/meal replacements daily. This is by no means a milkshake you'll get at Dairy Queen etc but it is DAMN good considering how good it is for you.
Especially useful for anyone wanting a quality meal that is very quick and easy to make.
Recipe:
Handful of ice (you can add more or less depending on how thick you like it)
1 cup of Mixed Berries (Bags in freezer section of any supermarket)
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of egg whites
1 serving of Vanilla Protein Powder
1 serving greens+ Wild Berry Burst (can be purchased at Vitamin shop)
2 tablespoons of flax meal
Anyone have any other recipes/ideas?
Let me know what you think

This is a very simple recipe that I use.
put in blender:
1 banana
some frozen berries (I like raspberries or strawberries)
fill up with milk so it covers the fruits (I use oatmilk or soymilk but whatever)
2 spoons of proteinpowder
add some lemonjuice if you like
blend and ready to drink

All you guys need are three things:
1. chocolate protein powder
2. oats
3. peanut butter
Get your blender out, throw 1.5 cups skim milk in with 2 scoops of protein, 2 Tbsp peanut butter, and half a cup of oats. Add ice and blend it up. Fantastic for the hot summer, and a great meal when you don't have time to cook chicken or steak.

This actually has been my goto for a while... also, Ikaika, do you remember that really old thread on BB.com where they had that recipe for homemade protein bars? I can't seem to find it but I know it was easy to make and could be useful as a clean on the go snack.

Hmmm one of my buddies on the Penn State powerlifting team has a really good one; let me talk to him and get it so I can post it up. I've made them before and they rock my socks but I can't find the recipe on my computer atm.

This is great pre-workout.
Post-workout I do two scoops ON whey, ~35g dextrose,~35g maltodextrin, and 5g creatine immediately after I'm done lifting. This shake is by far the most important part of my daily nutrition (well, it's up there with breakfast).

+1 for both of these
I've also made a mixed berry chocolate milkshake which was pretty good.
1 cup frozen mixed berries (black/blue/rasp)
couple of ice cubes
scoop of chocolate protein powder stuff
fill with milk until stuff is covered
mix and enjoy!

Ikaika,
Did you manage to find that recipe for home made protein bars? I'd love to get my hands on a good one.

I posted it in the "healthy good for you snacks" thread. It works REALLY well and is pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
