Default 100NL HU. Trips facing donk bet(s)

Haven't been playing long with villian, probably 30 hands, but he's playing a lot of pots OOP so far. Seems very fishy. He's 3betting at about 12%, but take that with a grain of salt at 30 hands. Have seen him donk a few times so far, but hasn't shown down.

I realize turn raise is iffy, but I think once the turn pairs the board his range has enough 9x, 8x, F/D's that, being fishy, he might call a raise with this early.

River is tough, thoughts?

His flop lead and turn call of the raise has to be 8h/xh or hands like JhTh/6h7h, if he plays those hands that way. I would call as his line makes no sense unless he has a better K, but then I would expect him to 3bet the turn.

Make it $30 on turn planning to check non K/4 rivers. Maybe bet like 1/4 pot on non heart/9/8 rivers.

How quickly did he shove? Players at .5/1 do things without any reason and I think you see a bluff or some random hand like AA sometimes.

Yeah, it baffles me how many times you can see AA here, or even like a JJ/TT hand. He shoved pretty quickly, definitely didn't tank.

I gave him the same range that the both of you did. JT / T7 / 67 (+same hands suited hearts), then his 8xhh, possibly 89 also, and then a few random weird AA/QQ/JJ/TT combos.

I that's a pretty solid range for villian. I think he rarely, if ever, has a K or a set/boat as I think he 3bets the turn way more often than not.

Against that range we have a ton of equity and I think it's a snap call.
