HU players in NJ - low & mid stakes
Forgive me mods if this post is out of place, and please redirect me if there is a better place for this thread....
In an effort to get more involved and commit more time to poker, and also improve my game as well as establish some somewhat local bonds with other HU specialists, and since I have quite the habitual theme of taking frequent and recurring hiatuses, for sometimes months at a time, I've created this thread to try and get connected with a few "colleagues" for discussion or some grind sessions, or whatever.
I play full-time and have for a few years, though my stats would reflect more of what a part-time player might produce - as I said, sometimes multi-month hiatuses.... Though I've been working on that in the last quarter of the year and have made some pretty dramatic increases in hours played, etc. But I don't want to stop there.... I've been a HU specialist for 3 years or perhaps longer, and have always preferred short-handed play even before I started playing HU. In my estimation, I've probably managed to play something like 300k+ hands in that time, though I will have a better approximation of that when I get my database sorted out, which I'm working on now. I've put up a pretty solid winrate over the course of my HU "career" which includes plenty of major tilt/dumping sessions.
In any case, if you're from NJ or nearby in PA and are interested in making some more poker connections/friends, and HU is your main game, then don't be afraid to say "What's up?" in the thread, or send me a PM if you want to get involved.
