Default The HUNL Stats Thread!

Alright Guys, I decided to make a similar thread for the HUNL forum as Red Joker did for the Microstakes forum. For those of you who havent seen the thread it is http://www.leggopoker.com/forums/mic...read-6070.html

Basically, you post a screenshot of your stats and I will give you some feedback. I have altered Redjokers initial post a bit to apply to HUNL. Make sure that the stats you post dont include any PLO or LHE hands as this will skew the results.

The stats I recommend are the stats I have, but you dont have to post those stats. But if you post stats I am not familiar with I cant promise Ill be able to add anything meaningful. Before I made this post I made sure I wasnt missing any stats that I thought were important, so if you copy the stats I posted everything should go good

When posting your stats for analysis:
- MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A SIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF HANDS. TRY NOT TO POST WITHOUT AT LEAST 10K HANDS IN THE SAMPLE
- Don't post stats in here just to brag you had a good weekend. Use the Bragging and BS'ing forum.
- Remember that we're looking at stats to plug leaks; you're not changing your game to make your stats "look better" or fit into a certain range, you're changing your game to play better and make more money. The stats will follow after that.

HoldemManager has a huge amount of stats and it can be a little overwhelming deciding what stats to look at and what stats to post. There are a number of stats I'd recommend including in your post.

Firstly go to the following page in HoldemManager:

If you press the green "+" button at the bottom, a new window will open and you can select which stats you'd like to include. By using the SHIFT and CTRL keys you can select multiple stats at the same time and then press "Save and Close" to include those stats.

The stats I'd recommend including in the "Position" section are:

Net Amount Won
Big Blinds per 100
Standard Deviation Big Blinds
$ Won WO Showdown
VPIP
PFR
3Bet%
Fold to 3bet
Call 3bet
Raise 3bet
Flop Cbet%
Flop Cbet Sucess %
Flop vs. raise Fold %
Turn Cbet%
Turn Cbet Success %
Turn vs Raise Fold %
River Cbet%
River Cbet Success %
Fold to Flop Cbet
Raise Flop Cbet
Fold To Turn Cbet
Raise Turn Cbet
Fold to River Cbet
Won When Saw Flop
Went To Showdown
Won Showdown

After you've included the stats you can filter by going to Filter -> Edit which will bring up a new page. Under "# Players" select "Equal To" and "2" to remove any 6max hands from your sample as these can distort your stats.

You can also use the date filter to select the most recent hands. Make sure you keep a large sample size though, at least 10k hands.

After this hit the "refresh" button to see all your stats. You can now take screenshots and post them. To take a screenshot open up the relevant page in HoldemManager and maximize the window to cover your screen. Then press the "Print Screen" key:

Open up MSPaint or another image editing program and press CTRL+V or else right mouse click and select "paste". You should now be able to see the stats. On the left of MSPaint, towards the top, there's a dotted rectangle. Select it and then use your mouse to outline the information you want to post:

Right click and select "Copy To". Navigate to your desktop and give the file a name you'll remember. Make sure the file type is a JPEG as other file types are bigger and take longer to load up, select save.

At the top of this page select the "My Tools" option and choose "My Poker Images" from the drop down menu. On the new page select "Browse", navigate to your desktop and find the relevant file. Select it and then press the "Upload" button. You should see a green banner with "successful!" if it worked. If it doesn't try again and if it's still not working PM Tickner to let him know about the problem.

You should be able to see a thumbnail of your uploaded image and beside it will be two lines of code. The top one has the [ IMG] tags around it, copy this and paste it into your post. Repeat this process for any other images you want to upload and you're ready to post.

You can also post graphs if you wish, if you are unsure if the swings you are experiencing are normal, or have any other questions

Overall it looks really good. Your showdown numbers look really good(although I would think you have been running pretty good over this sample). One of the main problems I see in a lot of small stakes hu players is their WTSD is very low, sometimes below 25. I think 30 is a very solid number though

Your cbet numbers also look very good. The thing I like most is you are following up your flop cbet with a turn and river cbet a high % of the time. Too many players are cbetting once and giving up both in and oop too often

Your fold to cbet numbers and cr flop numbers look good. If anything you might be peeling to flop cbets a little too lightly. But I think that ties into the last thing I wanted to write which was preflop for you

I think overall your numbers look really good but I would try to start loosening up preflop a bit. I think part of the reason why you do not fold to cbets very often from the big blind(29%) is that you are flatting a tight range of only 12% of hands. Your 3bet % looks very good. So I think you could start adding some hands to your flatting range, albeit slowly. Whenever you make changes to your game try to do so gradually

Same thing form the button. You can definitely add some more hands. I think at 50nl Id like to see your vpip/pfr from the btn be about 75/75. I personally prefer 100/100 but a lot of players youll play are huge droolers and raising 100% vs them would be incorrect. Your fold to 3bet is 54% which is also on the low side. Again this is due to only opening 66% of hands, so less of your range needs to fold to a 3bet

Overall your stats are very solid. Nice winrate as well, keep it up!

thanks man I'll play around with stove and find some hands to add into my flatting/opening range. I was wondering vs a loose passive station who's not causing me any trouble post flop but still never really folding should I tighten my opening range vs them or is it still ok to open 75%+ of hands just because there so bad?

yea vs those guys who arent 3betting hardly at all, and also fairly straightforward postflop, you can raise a lot of hands preflop. Its the guys who are never folding postflop ever, or are 3betting a ton who you would want to tighten up vs. Even then tho, only vs the craziest players would I raise less than 70% from the btn I think
