Default No money HU rake is killing my winrate

I don`t want to start a discussion like "everyone is solid" so HU games are drying out... but due to PTR and black friday the games changed a lot imo.

I was playing 100nl HU on varoius sites. I was working on my game, got coaching, summed up all my notes I took from videos and felt pretty confident in my game while playing 2-3tables.
Thus I am a casual player, playing about 10 hours a week.

Now 1/3 of my roll is stuck on FT. Due to my tight BRM I dropped down to 50nl.

However I am thinking about quitting HU for a few reasons:

Stars is getting on my nerves cause you can sit only on one table.
Party and I-poker`s rakecap is 1$ so its way harder to beat.
On all these sides bunch of regs are waiting to bumhunt.

Lately I played a session of 50nl about 1,5K hands and payed 100$ rake...

I thinks the games are way tougher after black friday. I have to wait for action way longer. Even against big fish, the high rake is a problem if there is lots of postflop play. Regs quit a lot because of PTR or hit and run you even for less than a buyin... Also while playing regs where edges are smaller the rake influences the winrate even more. In addition it is hard to find players who wanna multitable, except those who are crushing even higher limits, which I normally wanna dodge...

What do you guys think about playing HU on the micros?
Isn`t it more profitable to multitable 6max instead of 3 tabling HU?

Yo.

Learn to beat regs. Its definitely possible to have a huge winrate vers most regs at small stakes hu.
Its also possible to get action (post on forums that youre looking for action, sit with people until they play you).

Btw: Riggness your redline looks really ugly :-/

Cheers.

Who cares, his green line is very good.

As for OP, rake is pretty brutal at 50NL HU, but you should still be able to win for a very nice winrate, especially if you are playing a lot of bums.

Yeah I don't care about red line anymore. It's just kind of nice to look at. OP I think playing on another site with actual rb is much easier for a low stakes hu player than playing on stars.
