Default 10/20:Facing turn and river donks from good player

Villian here is Empire2000. We've hardly played together at all (<100 hands). The only history we have is that I bet twice blind on blind with A5 on AJxx with the turn bringing a flush, so I guess he knows that I'll c-bet marginal hands on the turn. He's been playing fairly aggressively, as have I, but we haven't gotten into any other interesting pots together.

What do you make of his turn donk here? I think it's most likely to be some sort of hand that doesn't want me to check back for pot control. Then when he bets the river I think he's almost always going to be betting for value, and I don't think I beat hardly any of his value range.

Is my line here totally standard, or would you play any streets differently?

I'd raise the turn like always- im pretty happy to get the flop in against roman and significantly happier to get an offsuit 5 in on the turn...

fold river for sure

Also agree with Sauce and BobboFitos. I would put his range on the turn on AQ/AJ/JQ/KQ and Diamonds...

Worth noting that Hero has the Kd, so KQdd is impossible. Results wise (knowing the river!) he can't have QJdd or AQdd either.

On the turn I think the same thing as you (he certainly doesn't have K5, T5, 52, and I'm pretty sure we have the best hand on the turn ~90%+ of the time) which makes it an easy crank, so I suppose he had J9dd or AJdd and played it funky..

Yeah this makes total sense now. I don't know why I was so worried about his turn donk given that there are so few stronger made hands he can have. Thanks for the replies.
