10/20: Weird spot on river with 2 pair

The villian in this hand is Pacuno. He plays mostly 10/20 (and maybe higher but I don't really check out those games very often). He plays 23/18 preflop, and he seems to double barrel a decent amount from his stats, although I hardly have any hands on him. We haven't got any history and I've been playing really tight so far in the 30 or so hands I've been at this table for.

What range of hands do you think he check calls the turn and then check raises the river with here? And do you think it's a call or fold?

well Txhh springs to mind ofc. hands like AQhh/89hh etc seem unlikely given that he'd probably just bet the turn. One thing to note is that your range looks like JT+/bluff so turning a hand like AT into a bluff (which is all you beat) seems a bit odd in this spot. I'd fold I think despite the lack of combos he can have that beat you. He may have KJ too since its kinda hard for you to have that beat, but meh.

Agree with US. I think you have to fold the river especially because I have no reason to make a big bluff on the river when I can't represent a whole lot of hands. That combined with a lack of history and the fact that you're were playing fairly tight atm it's a fold imo...

Cool, looking back I actually think it's a relatively easy fold. At the time I was going through a million levels in my head as I know you're a good player and it's a spot where I should never think you're bluffing. But you have no idea if I'm good enough to realise that so it'd be a pretty crazy bluff.

Although I agree it's a fold, getting 4:1 and having 2 pair never really is a "fistpump fold" :P

I suppose villain has KJ or AXhh. I don't see a villain doing this with less than KJ for value - JT prolly leads or c/c. Really doubtful anyone is turning KQ into a bluff here. So I guess it's a fold.
