^^Since he was such a big fish I know that I don't need to worry about balancing or sizing as the fish is mainly playing his hand. So therefore, I'm basing my sizing on what I want him to do, call or fold. Earlier in a different hand, some one bet 1k and this guy asked him "your betting 1 thousand against me". It seemed like to me the 1k+ mark is when he really tightened up, It kind of made him realize like oh shit I'm putting in 4 figures and I have no clue what I'm doing lol. But anyways that's why I chose a little under 1k.
Yeah fair enough, to use an aejonesism I'd assume fishes calling range is fairly inelastic here so you can just go ahead and mash the pot, but if you have in game reads then go with that ofc.

yeah dont think i can find a fold here if you can expect some hearts to bluff and also not discount worse 9x hands. did you try to get him to talk after he jammed?

Ya he wasn't saying much, he kept pointing to his bet. Then he's like "just pay it off and get this over with".

I would call unless I really had a (really strong) reason not to.

RESULTS:

FLOP: 9d9h5h
Villain Checks, Hero bets 860, Villain calls POT=3250

TURN: 4c
Villain Checks, Hero bets 2300, Villain calls POT=7850

RIVER:3c
Villain Bet 16480 and is ALL IN, HERO calls, Villain shows 5d5s for a full house SIGH

It took me a while to call , a little over 5 mins. Even though everyone on here said it's a call I'm not sure if I'm happy with my call (not trying to be r/o). Here was my thought process- Pf, he has 100% of his opening range as I didn't see him fold to a 3bet once. Flop is, all 5x hands, any hh combo, all straight draws, (67, 78, 68) All combo draws (obv) And 22-10. I'm very sure he wouldn't float with any hands because he just simply doesn't have that in his repertoire , he plays the strengths of his hands. The 4c turn Is obviously a great card for me as It improves his range a lot. All his gutters are now either open ended or double gutters, Some of his hh hands are now gutters and all his 5x hands and 66 77 88 and 1010 are gonna continue all the time because the 4c is a "safe card" especially with a player like this. The only hands that fold are really only his peels with 22 and 33. The 3c river was sort of interesting because some his straight draws get there. BUT, I expect him to pretty much ALWAYS only c/c with them. He's the kind of fish where he would never value raise unless he had the strongest hand possible on the board. Given its a paired board , I would never see this player raising a straight no matter what the situation is. I was gonna bet relatively small on this river given how weak I thought his range was. I wanted him to be like fuck it its cheap enough to call with all pairs and also let him think he can bluff me with all of his missed draws. When he shoved like this I was extremely worried. I had his hand pegged to the following: 55, 44, 9x, hh combos that are not straights, 68 and 78. I don't know if this makes much sense but I think he thinks that 89+ is stronger then 67, or Ah2h or 6h2h. He's just too scared to shove a straight like this because since the board is paired he always thinks I might have a full house. But any 9 here to him looks like the nuts because when he has a 9 he thinks i have an overpair. I know it's a little crazy but some fish are retarded.Anyways given all this, I'm not so sure he would try to bluff here. I mentioned how he stated, "I'm gonna get you" I thought that just meant like I'm gonna try to get lucky on you since your owning me and I just don't think he would try to bluff after saying something like that to me because hes worried that I'm gonna think hes bluffing so therefore only with a value hand. But still, theres 6 combos of 9x I beat. Any comments on my thoughts?
