Default NL1000 AT two pair vs overbet river

Weird spot... villain is a 31/22 with 3bet=10 in 500 hands, folds to cbet 39%, high call open BTN % also. He's a regular of the level, he probably sees me as a midstakes reg taking a shot, although Im not sure of that.

There's a fish in the BB.

I'd almost certainly go bet/bet/bet and bigger on the turn.

Now I click call, though I'm not too happy he overbets (because a normal bet should do the same) but still I'm not folding top 2 here. He might even have A5

Thing is, I don't see that many hands that can pay my value bet, since AQ-AJ are pure bluffcatchers, so I decided to check, which is bad with my image... I was also afraid that he could be good enough to raise the river, since some hands got there (22-A2-55) and I would hate life if he raises the river.

Because of that, and because of the busted flush draws, I prefer to treat my hand as a bluffcatcher, and I even can beat some of his value range (the AQ-AJ aforementioned), but this hands don't overbet, and I think its weird to do it with A5. I mean, I don't think we are in that kind of dynamics (overbetting without nutted hands) nor think the villain is good enough to do it vs me, nor I think the villain sees me as good enough to believe Im going to pay the overbet with bluffcatchers... for me its kinda sick, because I know
his range is inclined towards busted flush draws, straights and sets, but it's so obvious that it's a spot to overbet with busted flush draws, that I doubt he can be so retarded to do it...

Prob the best thing to do next time is to call and stop levelling myself, its killing me

About the sizing in the turn, I totally agree. Should have make it like 95-100, nice observation.

BTW, thanks for posting, I like your videos a lot

agree with the others.

only thing which worries me is, we are percieved to be c/f ing this river with most of our checking range, even some strong stuff sometimes might c/f like A9s or something, could be a cool spot for him to overbet just to make you curious with hands like that which you would most likely have folded to a normal bet.

given your flop sizing he probably raises his sets on the flop a lot % time, unless he knows you barrel light a ton, in which case it makes it even a faster river ch-call (+we block TT).
He also shouldnt have too too many 2x hands in his range after he calls the turn
as default bet bigger flop/turn/bet river because a lot of your draws missed, rather ch-call diff. types of hands
