Default River bluff

Don't know alot about villain. Only note I have is that he checked A3cc on QJ2ss co vs bt + c/c turn 5 and it got showed down on the river. His stats seem to be lag. Anyways there you have it, not alot to go by...

LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

BB: $198.75
UTG: $1,176.10
CO: $1,000
Hero (BTN): $1,236
SB: $1,115.50

Pre-Flop: 4 4 dealt to Hero (BTN)
UTG folds, CO raises to $30, Hero calls $30, 2 folds

Flop: ($75) 2 T 5 (2 Players)
CO bets $40, Hero calls $40

Turn: ($155) J (2 Players)
CO bets $90, Hero raises to $295, CO calls $205

River pot is 745
Eff stacks are 635

Question:
What cards are you not jamming?

I am most def not raising this turn.
His barreling range will often consist of hands that bet-call or bet-shove instead of bet-fold.
He can have plenty draws and even if he has KT / AT type hand he'll expect us to have a turned draw.

Add to these arguments that we have practically zero backdoor equity and I am just not putting 44 into my turn bluff raising range

As for your question, once you raise turn you'll have to go with it and rep the set / 2pair. w/o history villain might look you up relatively light (Tx) for information. You rep a pretty polarized range and if I'd be villain I'd look you up (w/o history) on all rivers except clubs and Ax.

This is isn't standard for me either to be raising 44 here. But he made me peel somewhat light with his weakish bet on the flop and when he continous with a weird looking weak turn bet I had a hard time putting him on a great hand. And thus decided to make a play at the pot.

I agree that I'm repping two pairs and sets and maybe sometimes an overpair, but that might be a bit of a strecth.

I think villains calling range on the turn might be something like Tx+ and some good draws that he's not comfortable getting in which could be KQ, Txcc, 5xcc and maybe some Axcc. So it seems to me I shouldn't bet clubs, tens and jacks since those are his prime calling hands on the turn and I'm not repping FDs when I raise turn.

Must say that I am not a fan of letting his betsize make you peel light IP. I would rather look at his barreling tendencies and our equity the rest of the hand. I don't like 44 on this flop unless villain is weakish and gives up many turns. If he does barrel a decent frequency and we have a clean image I'd rather raise flop then peel one.

Why is it hard for him to have a great hand? The flop is dry as can be it makes sense to me that he doesn't make it 60$ here. Best scenario for him if he has AT or sets is that you make a peel with Ax and other stuff if the turn brings an A he's gonna get three streets.

I don't think you can rep overpairs this being BTN vs CO rest of the hand I agree.

There are so many better hands to raise this turn with. Why raising 44 here? I think it's pretty easy fold.
